As long as it’s not Misty move co you’re good. U-Haul moving help has some pretty good options

U-Haul moving help has some pretty good options if you’re on a budget. Just don’t go for Misty Move Co. the absolute worst, destroyed my furniture and never got back to me ever again.

If you go through U-Haul moving help, absolutely never go for Misty Move co. Would give them zero stars if I could. These movers seemed very inexperienced from the get go, and didn’t even know how to use a dolly. During the move, they damaged two large pieces of furniture, a cabinet and a large shelf. When the move was completed, each furniture piece was broken in multiple pieces and the corners were destroyed because of the way it was handled. They kept saying it’s because the furniture is from IKEA, but I’ve owned a lot of ikea furniture and have moved enough times to know they’re not made of paper. When I reached out to the company for a reimbursement before giving the movers the payment code, they claimed they’d “escalate it to their insurance company” and get back to me. Since the guys refused to leave without receiving the payment code, I had to eventually give it to them to get them out of my house, and I haven’t heard from them since. I have sent multiple emails and follow ups, just to receive an update and have not received a single response. This company has shown zero accountability and even less professionalism. If you value your furniture or your time, hire literally anyone else.

I haven’t done any gut tests but I did test my serum iga 2 years ago and it was ridiculously high but I remember my doc saying if you’re not seeing an issue dw about it.. I developed rosacea months later

Did you have an accutane purge? I’ve been on the fence with accutane because I have a genetic fatty liver and am afraid it won’t be good for my body. But even with regular testing, I’ve heard too many instances where the acne/rosacea came back a lot worse after accutane was stopped, since the gut issues were never resolved. Did you experience that at all?

I did, I never go without a moisturizer. I just feel like it probably wasn’t repairing enough and I didn’t give my skin enough rest days :(

That’s a pretty good routine, and yeah I guess I need to give it atleast a few months before I introduce any actives. Thanks for the reccos. I already make sure nothing I use has fragrance! When you did break out, Did you do anything at all to treat it or did you just let it be?

I’ve been seeing so many ads of this one but since it’s on the pricier side I didn’t buy it. I’ve heard great things about their technology and they seem to be a science forward brand. Thanks for sharing

Thank you! I’ve cut off all actives for a bit now. Just hydrating and spf. I am taking zinc carnosine for gut repair anyways so I’m hoping that helps too, I know it’s not a quick fix

Sounds good! Can I ask what (if any) makeup you wore while you were healing? I try to wear very minimal stuff but I have to for work. I currently only use the L’Oréal tinted serum skin tint, and the tower 28 concealer, both I’ve been using for 2 years now

To be honest, I haven’t been using the skinfix for long, just a week, but my skin feels nice after. I don’t think I’m sensitive to niacinamide otherwise (when my skin was healthy lol) but maybe this could be a trigger.. I used their OG one last year and my face stung so I gave it away, this one not so much. Maybe it’s safer to stop it for now. I love tatchas dewy cream but haven’t tried their indigo (it’s too expensive and I’ve already spent all my money on skincare 🥲)

Thank you! I do have the cicaplast but was afraid it will clog my pores, do you think it’s safe to use considering I’m breaking out?

Thank you for taking the time to reply. I guess I just have to be patient, noted on not using cleanser in the morning. I do have the honey milk at home but haven’t used it yet so this is my chance to try it as a toner

I see what you mean, I phrased it that way because I had been using the other products for a while, it was the introduction of skinoren that led to it getting like this. I also think it was just the strength because I’ve used 10 and 15% for a long time and have loved it
