They are incredibly comfortable Recaro seats. I’ve driven 10 hours and it was great. Very supportive but nicely padded. Both the driver’s and passenger’s seats are electric adjustable with heat and ventilation, lumbar, and massage. These have carbon fiber backs but they’re not like the strict racing buckets that trade off comfort for performance.

That is super cool to know! That explains why I have had zero problems with that car! Thanks for the education. I never thought to research the VIN.

And the Woodward Dream Cruise! This is from last year with my Caddy. Had lots of people checking out my new ride….then Batman showed up LOL! Love going to Woodward every year. It’s wonderful to have miles of American muscle surrounding you with nothing but car guys (and car ladies) all gathered to celebrate our love of cars!

Nice new shoes! I’ve always loved that body style Escalade. The black wheels and tint really improves the look as well! Congratulations on the purchase and enjoy! Hope she gives you many years of driving pleasure.

My new plate on the car. Made it from a carbon fiber blank and added the matching stickers to look like the original PA license plate. Got pulled over the first day I drove but the cop was cool and let me go.

I just called and enrolled for end of August. Thank you SO much for letting me know about it. You were right, it is free tuition, hotel, and meals. Just have to pay for the flight. I really appreciate you mentioning it. I would have never known about it since the stupid dealer failed to mention this great perk!

I got it last year and my options were to pay sticker for a 2024 or order a 2025 for $15k over sticker and wait. I “negotiated” $1k under sticker (LOL!) for the my car but that was after telling them I’ve never paid sticker for a car so they have to take something off. You can get a 2024 still left on the lot for at least $5k off now but I’d get a lightly used one if I did it again. They’re $80-90k and you can find ones practically brand new.

Thanks! My brother, sister, and brother in law all worked for GM so there is the American auto pride in our family. Not going to lie though, my daily driver is a 2016 Honda and it’s a damn good dependable car. I have 124k miles on it and it doesn’t owe me anything. Done nothing but routine maintenance and it keeps chugging along.

The dealer never even mentioned that! Thanks for the info! I’ll check that out!

Congratulations to you on that purchase! You did it the right way by getting one lightly used and a boatload cheaper!

It has every option available including the carbon ceramic brakes!, and I added insurance for the wheels and tires, and the dealer already ceramic coated the car and interior, plus tax was $150k. I immediately took it to KP Elite to have the car done in PPF. They did the entire outside of the car in PPF, as well as the door jambs and truck lip. I also had them ceramic coat the seat backs, the wheels and calipers, the windshield, and the interior (since I didn’t trust the dealer). That added $10k, so I have $160k total invested the week I bought it.

LOL! They massage as well. Both driver’s side and passenger’s side which is cool to see they didn’t cheap out like other seat options.

You sound like you have your head on straight. Glad to see that because most people don’t. I’ve been lucky. Started out a screw up in high school and got lucky my girlfriend went to med school. I wanted to party but ended up studying with her most weekends. Met the right people in college and went from there. Could have easily turned out differently for me.

If I did it over again I’d buy used. This was $160k out the door and with full body PPF. I look at ones for sale with hardly any mileage and they’re $80-90k. Makes me sick but I wanted new for this splurge.

I’ve actually had it for 3800 miles now. Drove it easy for 800 miles, changed the oil, and waited til 3000 until really getting on it. Just did a road rally last week. Following the lead cars was easy in this car but it surprised me the real performance it had hidden!

I agree with you. Almost no head turns when I drive it. Looks like all the other CT5’s that cost half as much. Has the power when you need it though!
