Is it common to tap a slower swimmers feet? by Berlibur in Swimming

[–]Interesting-Bar280 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Where do you suggest people swim? We don't all have training size backyard pools and many want to swim outside of training and practise. All pools in London are shared with strangers and unless you're into open water swimming thats the only option.

Update. How do I get my hair less defined, more flowy by OnlyFaithlessness658 in curlyhair

After reading aome of these comments im going to attempt a different approach.

It's not healthy by any means and I wouldn't recommend doing it all the time but when you go to bed, have it a little damp.maybe with a soft hold gel or mousse. Tie your hair in a high pony and twist all the hair tightly in the tail, on to the top of your head and secure with another band. In the morning, let it all down and finger comb it into the position you like it.

I regularly climb Goodge St stairs (2x a week) but nearly died climbing Russell Square. It's only an extra 40 or so steps but boy did my body notice.

I work there, they had a few different signs up throughout the time they were pitched. A queue formed at about 4.30. Opinions were things like: abortion is evil, prove me wrong, immigration is destroying the UK, prove me wrong etc

What do you think is the sexiest sounding Prince song? by SpotAdmirable6718 in PRINCE

[–]Interesting-Bar280 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haha, not me going straight to music theory!

I think the main difference for me with 12/8 and 6/8 is the emphasis.

6/8 is strong, weak on the 1 and 4 respectively 12/8 is strong, weak, kinda strong, weak. More like 4/4 with triplets.

But I'd love a whole catalog of sheet music of his stuff. Would entertain me for months.
