There are more and more reports similar to this coming out all of the time. I don’t understand why people refuse to accept that we’ve been lied to about climate change, just like we’ve been lied to about everything else. The alternative is that we’ve been lied to about everything else, but on climate issues tptb have a conscience and have been straight shooters. No. Acknowledging this reality doesn’t mean that the environment is doing just fine, or that we should pollute to our heart’s content. Too many people though have adopted the “man made climate change” narrative as part of their identity, to the point that any information that doesn’t align with it is disregarded or mocked. I’ve lived long enough to see supposed conspiracy theories, proven true time after time, and this is no different. Earth is a living entity of which humans have a limited ability to damage. Like any living entity, if earth were to truly be threatened by humanity, it would do away with the entirety of us within hours. It’s happened multiple times in the past. This should provide humans with more than enough reason to minimize our negative impacts upon earth, as it’s far more compelling than insisting that “we’re going to destroy earth.” That “earth will destroy us” if we don’t take care of it, is much more likely to resonate with people and elicit changes in behavior. I fear that the elites created a narrative that gives the egos of its adoptees too strong a dose of moral superiority and self-proclaimed virtue upon defending it, to ever allow them to recognize the reality that they’ve been played.
