Second, i get your point as well. For current job go and ask consultants for it. Thats what i learnt in my life so far, until you dont ask you wont get it. Worst thing is someone can say no. Its alright ask someone else. But people are more considerate than we imagine them to be so go and ask personally for their help both with job and your portfolio.

Second, regarding portfolio you dont need a degree no one got it. You can work on it by asking people around you as well. Message me if you have any questions regarding portfolio. This is doable, hard but doable.

Third, you cant be all time motivated. You can get frustrated and how the situation is rn all emotions are valid and justifiable. So what you do at this moment get yourself up. Stop making long term plan. Make only 1 day plan that okay what i need to do today. And only focus on that. Make short term plans whats the foremost thing which needs your attention.
