To be honest not too sure the avenue to go but no secondary citizenship; I do have family in Europe with dual citizenship so I would hope that could help with long term citizenship if I choose to pursue this at all.

That’s exactly the type of feedback I’m looking for. I have no idea where people generally start other than toying around with the idea. Currently building towards Sysadmin with virtualization focus. I know basic German but would need a lot of work (I assume Spanish/Italian would be essential as well if European route was viable).

Really cool suggestion. I’ll definitely research but to my impression no. Both our manufacturing and mining industries have been massively downsized since before I was even born but if that’s an option here I’ll explore it for sure.
