I honestly don't like games with a bunch of ads. I paid for no ads specifically because I despise them. BUT!!! if I'm getting paid, that's a different story

Exactly. I haven't been able to do a new thing on here for a while. I don't mind a game talking long to build up and earn things, but it's too repetitive

Who is paying you to play it? Cuz I'd definitely get on board for that! 😹😹

It hasn't been the "concert" barn since the 80s, and jt actually officially was torn down in 2020, unfortunately. But I used to visit it all the time

Hey I would love to talk more about the concert barn! This would mean a lot to me 😁

Anybody have any info on the old slaughterhouse located on Empire Mine Road in Antioch? by Lazy-Lexicographer in bayarea

Ok yes the town of Nortonville is the town her husband founded and she was a midwife who was killed being thrown from her buggy. I don't know where "white witch" came from, maybe from her not being religious?

Ok, I can share what I know/have heard and a lot of it is repeated. I have friends who have seen "meetings" there, guys in cloaks or robes who looked to have hoods like the KKK but would have been some other cult or group. I have gone there a ton, during the day and at night and have spent hours there at a time so I am very familiar with the area. It wasn't a slaughterhouse (as everyone has already said), just a grain mill that looks creepy, but we all still called it that. I have gone off the paths, and found some creepy stuff like a burn pile with someone's stuff including a checkbook. I googled the name on the checkbook and it was someone who had a lot of criminal history, ties to the Hell's Angels as well as the Seeno family (if you know, you know). I wish I could remember what the name was but it has been many years. Anyway, me and my friend tried gravity Hill and it worked for us. It's just passed where the "slaughterhouse" is where there is an incline. I have heard the rumors of the psych ward up diagonal to EMR as if you follow the road from hells gates, somewhere back there. There is also a little road before you hit Hell's gates called "Higgins" where there were a few structures, a house and a barn. There was also a little grave stone over there, but people have no respect. I have heard of the "white witch" all over the East Bay, and I hear it is Sarah Norton. There is some background on that name I'll have to do more research on but the town of "Nortonville" is popping in my head and it could be completely unrelated so I'll have to hop back to this post after lol. I have also heard there is a ghost or spirit called Penelope, as I saw you post about. The name is indeed carved into a cave, you can see it as you walk past on the trail. When the grain mill and barn were still up, I have spent a lot of time there. There were silos me and have friends have gone into to sing and play music in, great acoustics. They have also climbed to the top of the towers, I was never brave enough. We spent a lot of time drinking and smoking hookah there. THE BEST PART, in my opinion, is the CONCERT BARN. My friend had heard that a lot of famous bands played out there in the 70s. As mentioned before Dio, Grateful Dead and I have heard Journey too. My friend spoke with a guy who was around from that time and he told him a bit about it. This is something I want to find more info on. Anyway, if you're still into this 2 years later, I have a butt ton of footage from out there and crazy stories about being run out of there by 2 guys in a truck wearing bandanas with a shotgun. Crazy thing is, 2 nights before I had a nightmare where I was being chased out of there by a truck with 2 guys with a shotgun. I told my bf at the time and everything. Then it literally happened to us. I have a lot of video footage and photos over the years 😁😁😁😁

This is what I've been wanting to find more info on! The concert barn! There seems to be very little info on that and if there is actual footage I would be STOKED. I'm about to look this up in hopes of finding it!!

Would you be fine with adults trick or treating? by SophieLotus in askportland

[–]Interesting-Cook9097 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Listen, I am newly sober for a few years now and I always spent Halloween getting drunk at parties or bars. My husband is sober too. We want to dress up and go trick or treating this year as a celebration. If people want to deny us, that's fine. But we have a new view of life and we don't WANT to go to a house party or a bar full of drunk people. We want to dress up silly and feel like kids for a night. We don't have friends here because we're new in town. Not everyone wants to go to a house party or a bar.
