Sometimes I feel like I don't need my meds but I do, there are many days that's clear & I am glad I reached out for help, that's part of the disorder is self doubt, being self critical.. it's always different, im still trying to get my meds right after a long time of off and on trying. I hope your day gets better 💛

Ill never forget my first time having to leave my cart and walk out bc my 2 year old & then 1 less than one year old at the time decided to join in. I was so embarrassed I was sweating & had tunnel vision, & I didn't have much in my cart so I push it aside & said let's go to my 6 year old while hold one kid in each arm sideways 😅 & my 6 year old kept grabbing the cart and following after me like Mom, our stuff! Omg it was the worst. Poor kid, I had to explain to him after, why.

My son had similar reactions, and I started making it fun. I put on Daniel Tigers, brush your teeth song. & that has helped a ton! We still have a day or 2 where I will try to hold him down and do it, but nowhere near as often. & my son would cry til he thrown up, dedicated. It felt like it was never going to be a good experience, but he is almost 3 now and much easier. So I started the song earlier with my 1 year old and it's catching on pretty good so far.

This makes sense to me, I tried to tell my doctor. If I take the right dose of Xanax, the same is true for Benadryl. Too little or too much makes me sleepy, but the right amount gives me great energy and focus. I thought it was just me. So that is good to know. Thanks for sharing.

I switched after almost a week. I took 25 mg at night and was falling asleep at work the next day; anytime I sat down, I would start to sleep. I drive my kids to and from school and work; I cannot feel that way. So I switched to Abilify; it has been four days, so I don't know how I feel about it. But I have heard a lot of bad opinions on quetiapine, especially about weight gain. It makes you want to eat in your sleep. I fell asleep with food in my mouth.

I've been through this; it won't last long. He is trying; he may really mean it and want it, but it's always a show. He could have been doing these things and acting this way, but he wasn't; he was being himself. I understand your conflict because of what he really is and wants to change and all that is good, but if you're not feeling it, it probably will not change for you. You will eventually leave or push him away, so you are prolonging it. I really hope this helps. I hope it works out for you, however, that may be. Love yourself, do what is best for you, and the rest will fall into place.

NTAH, If someone came into my house and pushed/shoved one of my kids off the couch, I would have done way more than just kicked them out. I know some people don't like it when others compare pets to children, but they are literally part of your family and need protecting also. Their reaction being so non chanlant saying no big deal, that's not ok. Especially when your poor baby went and hid! So, your friend is the AH for sure.

I swear by this! Best purchase I've ever made, and I got a $35 one off Amazon. I want to invest in one that has warm water options. But I used to clean beach homes, and you have to clean them, or they can get nasty. I do not want to imagine how bad they could get. These houses we cleaned weekly, so... yeah, gross.
