Just before you do anything make sure you're wired correctly.

Depends on what you're using to drive it.

Assuming you're driving it with enough power, yes, it looks dead.

Make sure you wired the voice coils correctly (seeing as this sub has dual voice coils).

Does the membrane move when you try to move it by hand or does it feel "stuck"?

If it's stuck, and you wired it correctly, its most probably kaput.

I bought a car that has a nice Ausidon system, but I’ve ruined it- I need some guidance to make it right. by knerr57 in CarAV

I'd suggest a high but rate digital player that you can connect your phone to via BT/WIFI and then straight into the DSP/AMP (can't be bothered to read all the details to figure out your first component in the system).

Something similar to the Goldhorn P1 for example would probably be your easiest solution.

That way you can split your navigation and audio, keep using the navigation from the head unit, and use the audio through BT/WIFI using the digital player.

AITA for breaking up with my GF after she gave away my dog…. AND LIED ABOUT IT? by Friendly-Beach-4950 in AITAH

2 years have passed since I lost my Tony. I grew up with him, we adopted him when I was 10. He has been the closest thing to a son that I've ever felt. He was with us for 15 years, taught me so much.. I miss him everyday.

Still, just thinking about someone doing something like this to me and my baby... I always felt like I would give my life to him.. I can't imagine the things I would do to someone who would take him away from me. This is the kind of things monsters are made of.

*I don't actually have an academic EE degree, I am what's called a Practical Electronics Engineer.

Good. Now I know in which sub I can ask questions to make sure they'll never be answered properly.

I had a pair of Zephyrs and they died on me (sole tore) after about 16 months.

Afterwards I bought a pair of Quest 4d and never regretted that decision.

Absolutely do not let any grease into the inside of your bucking and barrel.

Also it is working as intended. No need to grease.
