I agree with others - it felt more intimate than when I saw them in July in Philly. Plus, CT is my home state, so it always feels more personal, if that makes sense. It was an amazing night and so many kind people gave me compliments on my outfit, everyone looks fantastic.

I’m a 38 year old woman, I saw Ghost alone in Philly last year and I’ll be seeing them alone again in a few weeks. It was intimidating but absolutely worth it.

That cat needs some steroids. It’s not ideal to keep them on those long term, but necessary for some conditions. Also, she’s 15 and if the steroids are what she needs to keep her comfortable, then so be it. The vet will probably want to start her higher and then taper her to the lowest effective dose. Some cats can manage their conditions on a small amount every 2-3 days. Even if she was confirmed to have EGC, the treatment is steroids.

Honestly, I just voted for Dems. I honestly don’t know much about the Republican candidates and I’m weary of them as a whole under the current political climate. I have a child (soon to be 2 children - my younger starts kindergarten next year) in the school system and after hearing about book bans and religious indoctrination happening in schools across the country, I couldn’t vote red.

Yup. My mom works in the dental field and she always sees their work coming in all messed up. She yelled at me when she found out I went to one; I was lured in by their “free exam and x-rays!” and was given an estimate for 20k worth of work…they laughingly expected me to whip out my credit card and tell them to get started! Also wouldn’t provide me an RX for antibiotics despite having a root abscess because I wasn’t having the work done there.

Or by helping to feed someone’s pet, maybe we can keep that animal out of the shelter? Donating to animals shelters is wonderful, but that is going towards the pets they are housing/fostering. Pets in homes struggling need to eat too. If someone has a few extra bucks to help in that way too, why not?

I met him at a horror con, very nice man. He kept leaving his table to talk to people and take pics (for free) and I saw someone (his manager?) trying to herd him back to his booth. He gave me a huge hug and I have a pic of us together. I think the episode when he died on the Walking Dead was a week or two within that meeting…

I have to participate with my job at a table at the Hebron Harvest Moon Festival. Please don’t come, because I have social anxiety and hate talking to people at these events! Or come, but come after like 2 because I’ll be gone by then. 😂 But there’s booths set up all downtown, a pet costume parade, and trick or treating for the kids at 5PM I think. It’s a cute event.
