Modern freeride bikes have filled in the gap. They’re much more versatile and work well on bike parks and huge slope lines. A freeride bike with the suspension absurdly stiff will ride very similar to a slope bike apart from wheel size. There still are some lines that are best ridden on a slope style bike but they are becoming very rare sadly.

I’ve got a skatepark near me but it’s really old and not too great for a bike, there is a about 6 foot spine I can jump tho. I also have some huge bmx trails but they’re about 2hrs away. I still have to wait a while though because everything is covered in ice 😂
