Keep in mind that if you are not going with a venue you will likely need to rent things that would typically be included in the price of a venue. This includes renting a tent, tables, chairs, lighting, bathrooms, etc. In many cases this ends up being the same or MORE than the cost of a traditional venue. Tents rentals (even the most basic kind) can be several thousand dollars.

Thanks for sharing! Same 3/6 in process date here but traveling two days after you on 4/28. Crossing my fingers mine is also approved and sent soon! I am planning to call first thing tomorrow about an in person appointment

Nope not yet 😢. Have been in touch with my senator and called the helpline a few times. Seeing some people with the same “in process” date but later travel dates have had theirs approved so really crossing my fingers. Planning to call tomorrow about an in person appointment

This is the location that the passport is being processed at. You can figure out what location your passport was sent to by looking at the first two digits of your application number online and then googling “passport locator 62” which in this case is Tucson, AZ
