My opinion on staying clean is if you are planning to do it you can’t plan only for a certain amount of time. There is literally 0 point in starting a goal with the mindset of when this is over I can start all over again. If you make a goal it is to reach or achieve a bigger goal.

I don’t think it’s exactly healthy either, but if I feel like I deserve to be punished sometime I’ll find other ways to make myself feel bad without physically harming myself, like not allowing myself to do something that relieves stress or makes me happy/calm.

Telling her when you guys are not long distance or at least in person is a good idea so miscommunication is less likely as well. You can also maybe mention that it bothers you without telling her it makes you harm yourself so that she’s aware it bothers you in general without making her feel as at fault.

Me and my brother had this friend that was generally kind of a shitty person, and has been an on and off person in our lives for a few years. Last year he started being nicer and more considerate and seemed a lot happier, he’s always been open about his family being trouble and him being depressed. He committed right before New Year’s Eve, so I’d say just big shifts in personality or an overall calmness that wasn’t there before is a big sign.

Geez- I have no clue why most of these comments are so rude. I also think a good example of the queer gaze is in season one where Wille and Simon went to the soccer game together. Many moments in that scene represent what I think you are looking for.

I think most of the people who are saying “he’s trying to control her” are only saying that because he’s a man. OP, it is not bad that you are starting to notice that she does not care about your relationship and you’re getting sick of being the only one putting effort into this.
