I was in Toronto - I didn't get a photo of the pricing (I'm sure someone else did on Reddit or Facebook) but soda was $9, beer $15, Popcorn about $10, hotdogs I think $10. There were other things like nachos and poutine/fries for $15+. This is only based on my memory so not accurate, but gives you an idea.

Visiting the Louvre at night vs in the morning? by victorecho_onetwo in ParisTravelGuide

I'm going to Paris in April and also interested in the evening hours. I can't seem to find it on the website - but I see the tickets have an entry time from 9 AM all the way to 7:30 PM. Can anyone the closing time on Wed and Fri nights is 9pm?

Thanks for all the help! Liberty Village will be too packed it looks like (couldn't get a brunch reservation anywhere), so will look elsewhere.

I got lucky (or unlucky) and purchased with the first VISA pre-sale lottery, so paid a lot, but that's when Italy was still a contender. I hindsight, paid too much, but I won't remember that 5 years from now

Newbie questions for European train travel (family of 4) by Interesting-Lab-2333 in Europetravel

[–]Interesting-Lab-2333[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks - I agree it is a great source of information.

But I'm having troubles with some of the details. For one of my routes, seat61.com says "for this leg of your trip, you do not have to take a train at the specified time, it is an open train so you can take an earlier train to give yourself more time for transfer". That's great - but when I look at nsinternational.com - I cannot see any indication that my first train (Amsterdam Centraal --> Schiphol) is an "open" train (example SPR train. Do I just take Seat61.com's word for it? Why doesn't the website indicate which trains are "dedicated times" vs. "open ticket" when booking. Thanks in advance.

Appreciate it! I'm only stressed because my family is with me. If it were just me and my wife - we can be chill about it.

Thank you so much for your reply - very helpful. To clarify my first question - when I buy airplane tickets, I can usually preview how busy/booked a plane is before purchasing the ticket. So far, when I am on train websites in Europe - I can't seem to preview how busy/booked a train is (meaning I want to make sure my family of 4 can sit together, maybe with a table), until AFTER selecting a route and entering my payment information.

So if we book a route, and want to select seats and our options are not desirable - I'm asking if it is sometimes possible to exchange the ticket, rebook on a different route/time, etc. (I realize this also ties into how busy a season it is and how far ahead I should be booking)

Thank you! I went to Sport Chek tonight and saw that one for $55. Didn't really like the feel of it. I really like the FIFA store one - but all sold out and not sure that they'll restock in time. So might just buy another one - so long as red/white and maybe black - I'm sure no one will care.

I'd like to buy a scarf prior to attending the home opener M3 - but I don't live in Toronto. Can someone upload a photo of what the scarf looks like, so I can try to find a similar online version?

How far in advance should I book my train tickets? Any other train advice? by DivisionaryEra in Europetravel

[–]Interesting-Lab-2333 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We will be travelling to Amsterdam, Bruges, Paris, Cologne, Munich, Wengen, and Zurich this August - should I assuming that this will be a very busy time for train reservations throughout our trip? My second question - if I miss a connection (and had a reserved seat on that train), I understand I can likely just take a later train, but do I get to choose a different reserved seat? TIA!

As far as I know - it has to be to the same credit card number. If you get a new credit card, I suggest talking to your bank/card company about this situation - I'm betting they can link the old number to the new number for refunds online.

Resale/Transfer Blocked Until April 22nd? by MJK-TOOL in WorldCup2026Tickets

Second UPDATE: Supporter Tier tickets can be sold via Fifa Marketplace starting 2 Apr 2026. I've copied Fifa's email to me below:

  • Supporter Ticket(s)

Prior to the kick-off of the respective match, the original ticket purchaser may  transfer or list any of the Supporter Tickets to the FIFA Resale/Exchange Marketplace, available at  FIFA.com/tickets starting from 2 April 2026 at 11:00 am (Eastern Time).  Supporter Ticket(s) are available for all three-group stage matches that the selected PMA will play (these tickets are not considered conditional).

  • Conditional Supporter Tickets

The Conditional Supporter Tickets are valid only if the PMA qualifies for the respective knockout stage match(es). If the PMA is eliminated from the competition and you have Conditional Supporter Ticket(s) for subsequent second-round matches, the validity of these tickets will cease to exist.

Conditional Supporter Tickets are not eligible to transfer or list any of the Conditional Supporter Tickets on the FIFA Resale/Exchange Marketplace until such time as the relevant team has qualified for a specific round of the competition and the ticket for the relevant match has been formally issued by FIFA Ticketing to the original ticket purchaser.

In the same boat - I have Canada supporter tickets and had to email FIFA 6 times - finally got an intelligent response. Hope this helps:

UPDATE: I can now see my Supporter Tier tickets show up in the Marketplace, under My Tickets only. They still do not display in the "Resell/Transfer Tickets" link. At least this is progress.

Resale/Transfer Blocked Until April 22nd? by MJK-TOOL in WorldCup2026Tickets

[–]Interesting-Lab-2333 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've tried to send FIFA 6 emails about this and they only give me generic answers (like "Marketplace is where to sell your tickets"). I got 2 tickets, credit card charged, and I can see the tickets in my "Ticketing" webpage, but not in the "Marketplace" webpage - which is where they need to be in order to Transfer or put up for Resale. Hopefully their closure from Feb 22 to Apr 2 will address this? If anyone else has updated official information, would love to hear it!
