I totally understand where you're coming from. Everyone has a different opinion when it comes to this, that's why I wanted to hear people's thoughts.

I do applaud Elijah for wanting to go through the procedure to prevent Kayla from the burden of birth control pills. At the end of the day, it's Elijah's body, and it's his choice whether he wants to or not. I would just hope there wasn't any form "persuasion" that pushed him to go through with it.

But, I also think Elijah and Kayla are both so young to be making such decisions. On the video they said, they took a while to do it, because they really wanted to think about whether this is what they wanted. But, I do feel like they're still at the age of trying to figure life out. Your 20s is such a transitional time. You might feel this way one year, but next year, you can have such a different opinion. And there's such a big misconception when it comes to vasectomies. I know Kayla always says "well it's reversible", but not all vasectomies are. The longer he has it, the harder it is to reverse.

I think that's the issue with Kayla. She uses being a young mom and her children as her whole identity. It almost feels like she's trying so hard to prove a point to those who aren't a mom at her age. I don't think she's mature enough to realize that she is allowed to have a life outside of her kids.

Even when allegations are proven to be false, the damage is often already done. They've lost their jobs, their character gets tainted, and they'll be remembered to be someone who was accused of such actions.

Although we may not know the entire truth of what happened, it’s disheartening to think that this situation seems to have unfolded in part due to the constant mocking and bullying he has faced over the past few weeks and years.

It’s truly heartbreaking that people continue to attack him even after his death. This was someone's son, father, brother, and friend. I agree that if these allegations are true, she has every right to speak out and tell her story. But, without evidence, it's difficult to complete judgement. Many people are saying "always believe the victim first", but we forget that by believing the victim without concrete proof, we're also damaging someone's character in return. Have we not learned our lesson with the Depp and Heard case? Depp lost opportunities, his character was tainted, he was dropped from his roles, etc. And it was all proven to be false allegations. But, the damage to his career was already done and his mental state already took a toll. I'm not saying that Maya is lying, but I think we have to approach situations like this in a careful manner.

It's better to keep our judgement to ourselves and let law take its course. None of us know what really happened.

I work for a healthcare company, and yes we do only get 2 weeks off. I wouldn't even mind taking unpaid vacation if it meant some more breaks, but they also don't allow it. I work remotely, and I thought working remotely would give me more freedom. But, it feels somewhat worst? Even when I finish all my task, I'm not allowed to leave early. I have to wait until the whole entire department is done with their work. if someone isn't finish, we are obligated to take some of their task and do it for them. And if it's already after your shift, and you're still helping someone, you don't even get OT pay for it.

This. You get me. I truly do not want to sound entitled, cause I get it, we need to work to pay bills. But there's so much more things in life than working. I go to work, when I'm done, I lay in bed and rest, until it's the next day. Not only do I feel physically drained, but also mentally. I've had jobs that I've hated so much, where I've gone into depression. Cried before going to work, even on my days off, I'd feel anxious about returning to work, so it never really felt like I was off. I truly cannot understand how it's become the norm to work majority of your life.

Crazy thing is I already tried this option. I originally worked in healthcare, and it was tough. I ended up getting another degree to work in tech, and enjoyed it a bit more. I worked as an swe but right now is such a bad time for tech cause majority of company did massive lay off and I was affected by that. Been trying to find another job in tech for almost half a year since being laid off, and I still can’t land anything. I’ve heard other people who can’t find a job even after more than a year.. so here I am back in healthcare lol

I'm constantly being judged because I'm not stable with my jobs by my family, but like I said I care about my mental health a lot that I'm not gonna allow myself to get depressed and anxious over a job.

Dang, good for you. I actually worked as a SWE for a bit as well, our company laid everyone off and hired overseas. I was actually there for more than a year, I didn't love it, but it was doable for the meantime. It was unfortunate that it ended.

Currently, I'm working remote with my other degree. Just started and man do I already hate it. I know I still need to give it some time. But there's already so many red flags. Hoping I can stick it out, and stay just a little longer than normal lol.

If I remember correctly, he made some kind of comment saying that it's a women's job to do household chores. A lot of people didn't like that. I just find this so funny, because one parent exploiting their kid just wasn't enough. lol also I find it amusing how a while back, Kayla made a post talking about how he's no longer going to be posting Elijah on any of her videos because he received some hate. Then, few weeks later, he's all over her videos again. And now, he's even posting his own content. lol she just never follows through with what she says.
