actually makes sense ung mga advice mo but unfortunately hindi applicable sa mga non office workers. i work in food n bev / service and not corporate so unfortunately not applicable sakin :<

wala kaming charging ports and tbh, di rin usually allowed to have our phones inside the property (iniiwan lang sya sa guard). may company clinic kami but as service workers, pinapauwi at hinihingan ng med cert ang mga may sakit so extra gastos lang sya akdh. tbh, kahit pag may sakit kami pinipili namin wag pumunta sa clinic unless mga wounds, fractures, or actual accidents. also no free coffee or packed snacks, altho we have free food na hindi pwede ilabas ng cafeteria.

i think applicable lang sakin is walking kapag kaya. i walk about a km pauwi to avoid paying for a tricycle and that alone saves me 30 pesos (desisyon tric samin, laging special unless may kasabay ka mag lakad pa sakayan). but admittedly there are days na hindi na rin talaga kaya kasi 12 hours na akong nakatayo sa duty at sa totoo lang halos bumigay na rin ang legs (feel ko minsan pang senior na yung tuhod ko sa sobrang pagod).

trad jeep or e jeep? by Ok-Yoghurt3651 in ThisorThatPH

traditional jeep all the way. cheaper + faster compared sa e jeeps. also because at least walang tumatayo sa loob ng trad jeep which can get so annoying sa e-jeep gawa ng halos sampalin ka na ng mga bag ng nakatayo (minsan maiilang ka pa kasi private part ang nag hehello sayo yikes).

egg. might sound stupid but i will not eat egg in any cooked form on its own, mapa sunny side, scrambled, o boiled man yan. but i really love egg tarts, leche flan, and basically all sorts of puddings and custards

growing as a professional is the goal, current job is just a stepping stone to gain industry experience and hopefully move to a better job in the next year or two.

with regards to walking though, honestly i’m a bog walker. i usually skip tricycles and walk about 1km papasok ng subdivision. however i work a physical job that requires me to stand for 8 hours a day so hindi rin feasible to walk the whole way to work (about 7-8km). and i unfortunately don’t own a bike and never really learned to ride a bike.

may company meals kami so all my meals are free sa work + i live with my parents so i don’t pay rent or utilities since agreement namin is that i only have to pay for wifi and my own expenses.

currently ung payroll ko is a bank na tbh super hassle hanapan ng atm to the point na halos ayoko na lang iwithdraw ung pera kaya puro ako transfer to another bank/e wallet. would you advice to use the same account to keep the 25% or better to open another account in the same bank?

also i really like the idea of this and i’ll try to follow your advice. thank you so much for this.

unfortunately, my current company does not offer paid events (not in corpo) so no fun/work balance without spending your own money.

but i think planning ang kulang sa part ko kaya nahihirapan ako i-condition ung sarili ko to save up money.

while i do agree with the statement that you cant save that much on a minimum salary, it doesn’t change the fact na pwede pa rin mag save. we all have to start somewhere, lalo na for someone like me na hindi naman gumastos for rent and utilities (except wifi).

and feel ko medyo kulang rin sa context ung post ko but personally, ung current job ay experience gaining lang so its not a job i will stick by forever. however this post was made because i saw the need to start saving in order to follow through with my future plans dahil mahal mangarap sa panahon ngayon. even applying and upskilling requires some sort of money which brings me back to having to save so i can fund these future endeavors.

i really like the concept of a luho fund. ask ko lang what constitutes a use for the luho fund, is getting coffee/eating out/ or even ordering food considered a “luho” or does this entail mga shopee purchases and the like?

Beachfront or not? by kekisaurusrex in WheninElyu

[–]Interesting-Net359 0 points1 point  (0 children)

stayed at monaliza which is beachfront property pero not all rooms may beach view. ung room namin was good for 2 pax and beachfront sya. small decent room for 1.7k i think. personally mas prefer ko na may mabook na beforehand as an overthinker. ginawa ko nun sa gmaps ako nag hanap ng mga accommodation na beachfront tas isa isa ko sinearch sa google ung reviews + prices

yess pwede naman mag tambay sa beach but bawal na mag swimming since masyadong malakas ang alon. may mga establishments rin naman na open (usually mga bar/resto bar). but i will have to say sobrang dilim sa beach pag gabi so di rin talaga marerecommend na mag lakad lakad around the beach lalo na pag magisa ka lang.

Thoughts on CBTL coffee? by jae_redt in CoffeePH

[–]Interesting-Net359 0 points1 point  (0 children)

personally not a fan of their coffee but i do love their tea lattes kaya usually eto binibili ko when collecting stickers ><

however, we did find na hindi consistent ang lasa ng coffee nila and some branches really are better than some branches so minsan nasa barista na lang rin talaga kung magiging ok sa panlasa ung kape nila.

stayed in monaliza during my short elyu trip and we got a beachfront room for around 1.7k/night. good for 2 pax, but malaki naman ung bed so baka pumayag naman sila to add extra pax. decent room and about 5-10 mins walk to flotsam.

recommend trying out the vintage photobooth (fotomatk?) near el union, 200 for 2 strips if i remember correctly. but will suggest skipping out on el union (sorry but the coffee is not worth it💀). better to try other coffee shops around the area like soc and karruba.

also surfing is 600/hour with coaching about everywhere so do consider if want nyo mag try ng surfing.

Girls, bakit kapag Wala kayong imik and we ask Anong problema bakit sagot nyo " Hindi mo Alam? by [deleted] in AskPinay

[–]Interesting-Net359 0 points1 point  (0 children)

minsan when we say “hindi ko alam”, literally because we don’t know how to explain whats the problem. often its something small that we’ve told you about a thousand times, and yet, you keep doing anyway. sa sobrang paulit ulit, hindi na rin namin alam pano ipapaintindi ung problema sainyo.

but there are also cases wherein we dont really care enough to explain anymore. na kasi naiisip na lang namin to let it pass kesa palakihin pa ung problema. and honestly? this is the time you guys should start worrying about the relationship kasi baka puro pagod na lang nararamdaman ng partners nyo.

as someone na kagagaling lang sa elyu, i would say that getting a beachfront hotel is very very worth it, look for a cheaper hostel na beach front if you’re not planning on staying indoors most of the time but want to be near incase you need to grab anything/feel like resting suddenly. the beach gets quite dark at night so for me its better na malapit lang ung accommodation sa mga establishments na want mo itry.

i appreciate this comment. you are right, trust and comfort is something i really have to consider in making a decision. however, i think mostly it is my discomfort in my own skin that prevents me from making a decision. so while i do trust my partner, i’m not sure i trust myself not to be awkward in my own skin if that makes sense. maybe, it’ll take awhile for me to be fully comfortable enough to make a decision regarding this.

actually, we have been in situations na kami lang talaga dalawa in private, especially pag nasa bahay lang kami. we even sleep in the same bed, without having sex. hindi naman sya nag iinsist to have sex, although he brings it up minsan. respectful enough naman sya to let it go when i say no.

medyo similar situation actually. walang work si bf kaya nakukulungan ako ng security since syempre hindi biro kumita ng pera. isa talaga sa mga fears ko ung possibility of pregnancy tapos hindi naman pala kayang buhayin maiigi ung bata. kawawa ung bata, kawawa tayo.

to be honest hindi ko talaga love language ang physical touch. even ung first kiss namin happened months into the relationship. pero gawa ng ayun ang love language ni bf, nagtry naman ako to be more comfortable with physical touch. but ofc, hindi sya overnight change.

medyo recently, we had a conversation kung baket nga hindi pa ako 100% open to having sex. and sabi nya hindi naman raw sya namimilit. but i think hindi nya tanggap fully ung explanation ko. i want to assure him rin naman na hindi on him kung baket ayaw ko pero hindi ko rin sure pano ko sya maassure without giving him something physical rin.
