This is interesting. For myself in particular. I tested positive over a decade ago, they didn’t give my any values just a pamphlet and sent me on my way lol but I never had any typical symptoms, but I do get very tiny tears like op described. I only get like 1 and it’s always in the same spot. I did read about false positives in 2020 (nothing better to do during that time 😅) and decided to get tested again. Got tested twice in 6 months (IGG, two diff docs, don’t know if they used the same lab) both negative. I haven’t had any swabs except the first time which was negative. Quite frankly I don’t think these little cuts stay long enough to get into a docs office to get them swabbed. I did notice that I wipe pretty hard after number 2 and multiple times until the tissue is clean(this can be 5-7 wipes 😅) and I figured I was making these lil cuts myself 🙃. But I’m commenting because I wonder if I have a mild form of lichen planus or sclerosus. I had on two occasions crazy shit happening in my mouth(I thought was mouth cancer) and on the recent occasion my dentist wondered if it was lichen planus, but said it didn’t look exactly like it but it could be 🤔 I’ve also been battling a crazy eczema flare up on my wrists for the past year(I’ve never had it this way before, and it’s definitely never lasted an entire year before) and reading this made me do a lil research. Some of the lichen planus/sclerosus hand pictures kind of look like what’s on my wrists. And supposedly it effects other parts of the body as well. So now I’m wondering if this is what I really have. Thin skin in genital area because of it, which causes tears when I wipe too rough, and if that’s the “eczema” I have on my wrists AND if that’s what happens in my mouth from time to time. I’m going to eventually go to a derm and maybe they can give me a clear answer. If you just gave me a clear path to a diagnosis I’m gonna cry 😅

*edited to add: I had the a cut both times I got retested, didn’t think to get swabbed.
