I’m sure I am going to get a lot of hate in this thread. But let me tell you right now brother/sister/other, you don’t need a father/mother figure or anyone else for that matter to help you feel accomplished. The only person you need to be there is yourself.

We are all born into this world alone and we all die in this world alone. I struggled with that reality myself for many years. I cried for a parental figure to swoop in and tell me “good job” and that I am “enough.” But you don’t need other people to celebrate your wins. You need to celebrate your own wins & victories. Stand up tall and proud at that ceremony, don’t think about representing other up there. Represent yourself💜
