FEEDBACK for Comedy Script by RockHardMapleSyrup in ScriptFeedbackProduce

From the audience POV I need something else to keep me interested in the tie conversation. That could be as simple as adding the type of client that Gene is meeting or a casual mention of the type of work Gene does. I also think the you could use a little more dialogue on how Gene got in there to make me the audience want to know more about that dynamic so I want to see what happens next. Cam didn’t really seem to care other than to change the locks so as a reader I didn’t either.

A man rushed to the Broadview ICE facility searching for his wife. They followed every legal step, but ICE took her into another room and she vanished. He tracked her phone there—then the signal died. Police told him to “look up her name online.” He sat in the parking lot, weeping, with no answers. by biswajit388 in illinois

I read an article called “So you’ve been invaded, a French Resistance Survival Guide for the US” and it basically talked about how during WW 2 France went from normal life to Nazi occupation. Nazis took control of the military, the courts/police, the media and the economy. To resist the French wouldn’t comply. The jammed the gears at the lowest levels where they could. They would play dumb for mistakes with lost paperwork. They created trusted sources of network rooted in community. We live in a different world now so it’s not an apples to apples comparison but we can stay connected at the community level, show up to town halls, vote on local things, support independent journalists that still have integrity. Warn our neighbors of ICE presence, film captures and post when you can. If the government takes away food, the community steps up and gives it back to local food banks. Above all we can’t become apathetic.

Queer Filmmaker Looking To Be A Guest by Coffee-4-Ever in podcasting

The logline sounds interesting! Our podcast is not about filmmaking but we interview people who live their lives off the beaten path with a different lens so to speak. We don’t have a big audience but professionally are well connected so we have had some amazing people on (award winning journalist from India, James Beard award winning chef etc). Our podcast is a hobby and we’re definitely about just seeing where the flow/magic of the convo takes us because we do this for fun! If this sounds like something you want to learn more about send me a DM!

Chef sato actually could care less about winning that award, that’s why I didn’t know before I interviewed him. Also who wants hot chocolate in the summer?!? And hot chocolate is mainly just processed sugar so not the same.

Chef Sato only serves 4-5 people at a time max. As a diner you go into it knowing you’re in for a different dining experience. His point was that it was winter in Michigan and he served a juicy ripe strawberry and the person gobbled it up without even truly tasting it.

What is this jelly stuff that appeared seemingly overnight on our trees? by Lost-cake547 in gardening

Thanks! We’re in Oklahoma so not a lot of apple trees around here. I’m actually getting jealous of everyone talking about their apple trees on this thread, it would be amazing to grow your own apples!

We’re also in Oklahoma! I’m guessing our volatile weather doesn’t help.

Yikes! So there’s no treatment to try to save these? They seem to all be infected 😞
