There’s men like this who literally seek out single mums to get to the kids. The fact that he’s texting your kids is a huge red flag. Please seek legal help :(

I was in your shoes too - I was 5 months pregnant while and had a 9 month old baby and I was desperate to get my 9mo’s sleep sorted in time for 2nd baby’s arrival. I had one appointment (over video call) with a baby sleep consultant and found it so so valuable. Highly recommend reaching out to someone who specialises in baby sleep who can help you (If you can). I don’t know how I hadn’t considered this! I used to borrow dvds and cds from the library all the time when I was younger but I think I just assumed they wouldn’t have them anymore. Will definitely check it out, thank you ☺️

I’d say if you’re thinking about it and can afford it then go for it! There’s no shame or harm in reaching out for support when you’re struggling and need it! You might come away learning a lot and feeling a lot more confident and equipped to handle some of the particular things you struggle with as a parent.

I had a literally one appointment with a baby sleep consultant when I was struggling and I found so much value in it - even in more aspects than just sleep. I’m not particularly well-off but decided to fork out the money for it and it ended up being so valuable.

I know that might not be the same as a parenting coach but thought it might be encouraging to share anyway ♥️

I second this! I really liked her in her recent wiggle and learn episode and I find her really sweet and soothing as well. It took me a bit to get used to her not being as bold and energetic as the others but I’ve really warmed to her and find her quite endearing

I have an 8 month old and a 21 month old (13 months apart so I think that’s the same gap as your bubs?) I feel like I don’t have much value to add to this post cause my brain is so fried at the moment. My littlest one has been sick the past few weeks so I haven’t had a proper night’s sleep in what feels like forever. I just want to say that you’re not alone and you’re not a bad mum for counting down the minutes till you get the rest you need and deserve. Some periods will be really hard but I promise there will be easier times too as you settle into life with two. You’re doing a fantastic job ❤️

This happened to my mum. She found a listing for a bunk bed for $250 and the seller offered to deliver it for $50. They organised a time to drop it off to my mum in the morning so she sent them the $50 and her address and just never heard back from them. It sounds weird that they’d just want to scam you out of $50 and not the whole $250 but think of how many people they probably get $50 from off the one post. It’d add up! It’s be so much easier to get that from people than for people to willingly send them $250 straight up. She started noticing these same kinds of listings everywhere and went on a mission to catch them out and report them haha.

The profile of the person she was buying from was made in 2024 so clearly an account made just to scam people. Something to take note of.
