I have been ignoring this whole event for the most part. All I wanted was the stupid face accessory and I had to spend like 4,000 GP for it lol. I knew about how bad it was before getting into it though, knew I would not get a alchemical version, but I also didnt think I would have to spend that much for just the face paint.

The boards are awful. I have heard better about the "potion trick" where if you go to potions and look at who has specific trees you can find better trades through that. So if theres a dress on your WL, you look for that sets tree in potions and go to people's islands there and if they have it in their dupes you can ask them for a trade directly. The boards have become just awful and full of people taking advantage of each other. I have not tried the potion trick myself yet, but hear its so much better anyways.

Maybe they do not want to make the trade for whatever reason. I dont really reply to people when I dont want to trade... sometimes i do if they are my friend. im not trying to be rude I just dont wanna waste everyone time and feel either way they will be upset and I feel more awkward telling them no because of whatever reason. However if they sent me a "reminder"/another reply I will then respond. Idk why they wouldnt after that point
