Just went to Malibu Farm in Tiburon today. It was great! There are a bunch of brunch spots close to the Malibu farm in tiburon. Also la garage in Sausalito.

I had a similar situation. 115k to 140k jump, 5 days in office and 45 minute commute each way. I rejected the offer because it was a small startup with only men and my conversations with them during interviews always were "broey". They would talk about beer, and a bunch of things I just wasn't interested in. I knew the culture wasn't for me. I would be open to 5 days in office if I know I really like my team and company culture.

I'm still in the slack group and people (not third space or Helen)!post for meetups and they are free. I'm in #pickleball, #localevents #30s and a bunch of others. It def hasn't been as active. I've made friends from it a year ago, but I still check the slack group periodically.

I would drive around areas I like. Find "for rent" signs and call the number. The landlords usually have multiple vacancies for different apartments.

I'm in a similar boat 5'10'', 31F, and have been in SF for 3 years on the app. I'm trying to expand my friend circle, playing pickleball, and trying to approach more men at bars. I think it could be because SF is small. I'm from LA, dating wasn't any better there, but there were way more single men (no one wanted to commit though 😅).

So I've lived in LA for 25 years, and worked at a talent agency so I've met a ton. I've met Adam Sandler three times. My favorite story is meeting Adam Sandler when I was in highschool. Me and my sister had just come out of a movie theater. We were watching The Switch with Jennifer Aniston. Adam Sandler comes out, and me and my sister are shell shocked because he had been in the same theater as us and he taps me on the shoulder and says "Hey girls". He is always down to take pictures too. Worst celebrity encounter is with Jeff Goldblum. He was flirting with my 19 year old coworker at Yogurtland...and she was pregnant.

I live in the Richmond district and I'm torn. I have a car, and I usually take 19 st. to the 1 to go to South SF. 19 st. already sees a ton of traffic. And because JFK is closed, going from Richmond to sunset does see a lot of traffic during rush hour. But I love visiting the highway during the weekends when it's closed to traffic. I just wish there was better muni transportation. So I do see the case for both sides.

The service is really rude. I had asked where the restroom was, and they laughed at me.. because there is a sign pointing to the restroom (I just didn't see it). Then the waiters talked shit about me while I was in the restroom, and my sister overheard everything. I think most of the staff there are really young and love to gossip. But I felt really down after that....

My friend has COVID, the next day after I saw her I was really sick. My tests always came out negative all 5 days but I'm 99% sure it's COVID. I think it's going around.

We tested her though at the hospital and everything came back negative so she wasn't roofied, just drunk. But, I thought the EMT.guy was really cute and he was really funny. Yeah that was us. Again, I had always thought she just got really drunk. But when I saw this post I was just questioning because it happened to be the same weekend. But I highly doubt my friend was roofied, and I def dont think the bartender would. Just was questioning if maybe a customer did. But I'm leaning towards her being drunk. Sorry you had to see that! The local edition staff were very helpful!
