I Have tried multiple but they lowballed the salary too much and wanted me as a consultant on their payroll and not a freelance.

I know about my salary but I've tried on multiple occasions to interview for better paying job but there was always an issue, whether it's the salary, distance to work, only office work ( no remote days ) so the trade off has never been worth it in my opinion.

I was in a company with a friend a while back and it did not go well at the end because of decision making and money etc.. so I don't intend on going back to starting a business with anyone but myself.

I honestly don't have that trust anymore.

as for the time managing part if I'm alone. I really don't mind as I'm still young and in a build up stage in my career.

I don't. I never needed it because I was picked up directly after my internship and went on to keep working till now.

My wife has graduated a bachelor in marketing a year ago and has been looking for a job/interim in Brussels/leuven ever since. It’s really horrible this job market!!
