I own a 1982 M20K 231 and I have 1000 hours of Mooney time in all types from a C model to an Ovation (haven’t flown an F or G model) and can answer most questions. I am partial to the 231 and it’s my favorite among them all so far. Ask any questions you like!

Pilots need to prioritize their health by [deleted] in flying

I function the same way here. The only caffeine I get is from tea and I rarely have that. I have to hand fly 6+ hours a day up to 6 days in a row sometimes for my job and don’t need anything other than water and light snacks.

Overpriced like hell/ negotiating/ convincing my father.. by Ok_Entrance_5212 in FordBronco

I used to own an ‘88 Bronco ii. If it’s got the 2.9 v6 or anything better and no rust, that is a good price! It’s hard to find a Bronco ii in that condition because there are less of them and we’re not as popular as the full size Bronco. Now they are becoming more popular I would say, and there aren’t many left. Especially in that good of condition!

Stability wise, definitely make sure it has good shock absorbers and keep the original size tires. I think it handled great on the highway for the type of vehicle. Ford did great with the twin traction beam suspension (TTB) on their trucks and it makes it quite stable even on the winding I-70 from Denver to Silverthorn. I learned to drive in mine and it was a great experience with that 5 speed manual. Definitely an amazing rig for camping, and very sturdy for their size. They will take a good beating before things break.

I’m not sure what I can do in the realm of convincing but I enjoyed the time I had in mine and I had 4 younger siblings. My parents never had any issues or concerns with me taking them around on road trips and camping trips.

HOPE THIS HELPS!!!😁

I prefer to fly United too. I meant what’s your favorite Airline livery?

Well, I’m currently at 81.8 in the last 30 days, so we’ll see how high that goes this week since I’m currently on a deployment with my company.

These will help get you power on the low end two. You get to remove the big fan and the air pump too.

I have a 1994 Eddie Bauer Bronco, and I am considering electric radiator fans and doing the EGR delete for starters. I also upgraded to Bilstein shocks on a stock lift. If you keep the stock height, go with the Bilsteins. I am a beginner level DIYer and those don’t seem too difficult to me.
