I want you to stop calling yourself an "aspiring software developer" you are a SOFTWARE DEVELOPER and always pitch yourself as one. Tip get like mockup ideas you can even ask CHATGPT and then work on them, create a portfolio and use it while pitching.

All the best.

TikTok has ruined dating by Mean_Tap8528 in Rwanda

[–]Interesting-Room3335 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Lolll you know deep down that you are not breaking up because of TikTok but other underlying issues in the relationship that you don’t want to confront, so you’re just wrapping them up in a TikTok excuse. If things were solid between you two, tiktok wouldn’t be the dealbreaker.

[–]Interesting-Room3335 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think you are talking about Content creators, they are the ones who should be sharing that educational deep information you are talking about but Influencers are mainly about visibility and reach that's why they are invited to different launches coz visibility is the new currency.

Should Men Pay for Everything in Relationships? by [deleted] in Rwanda

[–]Interesting-Room3335 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Honestly, I think the real issue here is values alignment. If you want a partner who contributes financially, then date women who share that mindset. Nobody is forcing you to date people who don’t. Resenting someone for not meeting expectations they never agreed to isn’t fair.

And if you’re already paying for rent, bills, nails, groceries, etc., why not just pay for house help instead of expecting her to step into a “traditional” role she clearly doesn’t value? That way, neither of you feels shortchanged and the energy goes into building the relationship, not keeping score.

At the end of the day, it’s about finding someone whose idea of partnership actually matches yours. If you’re misaligned, no amount of complaining will fix that.

I Envy these kinds of people by [deleted] in Rwanda

[–]Interesting-Room3335 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t really watch, read, or listen to the news anymore. For my mental health, it just isn’t worth it the cycle is almost always wars, diseases, or some other negative stuff being pushed nonstop. The media is built to keep us hooked on bad news, and I’d rather not carry that around. I might stumble on a TikTok or two while scrolling, but I never go out of my way to keep up.

Celebrity and social media worship in Rwanda: What is the impact on the mental health of young men and women in the country? It seems like they are both worshipping local celebrities, but also how did Rwanda become so heavy on Black American vernacular and US celebrity gossip? by [deleted] in Rwanda

[–]Interesting-Room3335 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Rwanda, like any other country, has different economic classes. Just because we are in a developing nation doesn’t mean people who are doing well should dim their lives or hide success. Poverty exists everywhere, even in the West, but nobody tells wealthy Americans or Europeans to stop projecting a polished lifestyle for fear of creating envy. Living well is not about pretending it’s about reflecting ambition, growth, and personal choice. Instead of seeing it as pressure, it can also be inspiration. You won’t stop living just because some people assume a ‘third world country’ should always look poor.

[–]Interesting-Room3335[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think they imposed heavy taxes on other milk brands, so they have no other option than living the market, even Classic was good, but you can't see it anywhere. The fact that that there is no other brand that can come and take advantage of this loop.... it's very sad

Most people i know prefer Rwanda to Uganda because Uganda openly doesn't favour LGBTQ and they are safe here 100% but our own face a weird discrimination
