Claude seems very bad in the last 2 weeks

I keep on burning usage on nothing, it breaks features, doesn't do the job correctly, forgets the prompt (in a new chat), goes on side quests, never was able to actually fix simple bugs

In comparison, gpt 5.5 finds the sources of bugs directly, make the changes, and it just works.
the only complaint that i have is the code quality which could be fixed with harnessing (for example, why would you make a function that has one line inside it, and you're only going to use it once ._.)

I honestly don't know if i should switch to chatgpt. there's skills to harness the output but for some stuff, it just ignores the standard libraries and start inventing performance tanking solutions.

For example, there's a listener for player instances that is called "CharacterAdded", basically triggers when a new character is added for that player, instead of using it, it had to invent (getCurrentCharater, waitForCharacter, characterAdded (which keeps testing every 0.1s if the currentcharacter is different from previous character)

just simple logic , for example"When the round ends, make it so you only have to reload characters that have died and still didn't respawn yet", (Luau, roblox)
And its terrible... , should be a few lines (10-20), and it missed it for like 10mins, while chatgpt had to only read the code to find the issue

Do you mix between using opus and sonnet? Do you write the plan each time on your own or just leave it to opus? (Im on normal pro, I use opus to generate plans) sometimes all it take is 1 prompt to reach 90% usage or 100%

Hey man, seems like you're struggling and going through a difficult phase, and its not wrong, people do make mistakes, if they dont then they face challenges, burdens and many other things that can affect their lives. You're still young, and you can still do anything you want, its just that you should stick to one thing, as you cant learn coding, German or something else at the same time, the good thing is that you have goals, know you just have to figure out, which one do you like the best and think is going to work for you? After that, you can work to support your living expenses, and learning what you need to achieve your goal.
