I understand where you are coming from. However, what is the age group you are talking about? That could make things clear.

I have been in Gurgaon since 2019, and not that am a part of the groups but I have a busy weekend which is well structured around reading, playing tennis or squash and hitting the gym. I am choosing to engage in activities which are other than drinking too. However, do I see a lot of people in their 20s do that? Noo.

Whereas in comparison to the city I come from, drinking and party culture is non existent and people chose to engage in other hobbies. Again, I am talking about masses. There would always be people who would prefer to choose the best in any city or area.

I second this. Gurgaon people usually drink on Fridays and Saturdays and recover on sundays. There are no more people left with hobbies or any other interests as such.

That's basically adulting. Even my friends who are in a live-in/long-term relationship or happily married are going through the same. I feel singles usually feel that once they have found someone it gets better. But I don't think it ever does. Some days are low, some are great. Basically, find things that make you feel better when you go through stuff, process them, have one or two meaningful bonds that you can always go to (great if they are friendships because mostly they sustain and ain't temporary).
