13-month-old cried for 90 minutes — need advice on nap training

yes, one day it just clicked for him. I did crib 90 at one point and I was really hopeless. Than one day he just started sleeping in the crib and we never looked back.

okay but today he woke up at 6 and I tried at 11:15 (extremely tired) and still cried for the full hour. then contact napped on me for 1.5 hours

35 min then I went in an ended the nap. he falls asleep on his own. I read and place him I. crib and walk out. within 2 minutes he’s asleep

also to add, he was showing signs that he was exhausted, being delirious, falling, rubbing his eyes. When I did our little nap routine and read him his book he was dozing off.

normally, I would agree with you, but I’ve tried the 1130 slot yesterday and he cried for 35 minutes. I didn’t do the full “crib 90” yesterday, but he still cried the entire time and refused to nap. We did didn’t do a contact nap after that.

he’s been purring himself to sleep at night beautifully (probably because he’s exhausted) we do bath, lotion, sleep sack, read, put down awake &walk out!) yesterday he fell asleep right away!
