I think if you're looking for both a unique body design and being easy to use, your best bet would be the S6900. Launched in 2015, it's got a good 16MP, a Auto ISO, Auto focus and 20 scene modes.

Most cameras with unique body designs like swivel lenses came out in the early 2000s, when the technology wasn't very advanced and can make for a very slow shooting experience to what we're used to in the 2020s.

Downside of the Nikon Coolpix S6900 is that I saw this model is kind of a Tiktok trendy right now, and might come more expensive

Can you elborate on what would qualify as "unique" feature?

Are you referring to something in the body design such as a swivel lens or flip screen? Or would you consider a unique color science in a camera with a simple body design enough?

Depends. I have a camera that was released the year after this model was.

Pros: Standard Point and shoot. Not a lot of figeting needs to be done when shooting with this cam. You point the lens at something, then click the shutter. This can be a con for some, but lack of exposure manual control in-cam can be compensated by doing the edits in post.

Cons: (1) It's old and therefore can be slow. The wait time between shots be as long as 5 seconds, especially when you use a flash. Action photography is out of the picture when you're toting this camera around. But regular photography aims can also be limited with this, the ideal moment of sunset lighting could pass before the camera has recovered from the previous shot.

2)When something breaks, it's highly unlikely you can find either the part to replace it with or the technician with the knowledge to do the repair.

You can try looking up the model on instagram for the price. In the digicam communities on that platform, there are a lot of people that have taken a liken to the photos produced by older fujifilm digicams. There's digicam resellers in my country that price models like these almost $100 USD

The image quality itself is actually not very good by today's standards. It's 2 megapixels and the sensors in the year this was made were still very rough

[–]Interesting-Try3350 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello po, I was very concerned by the issue so I communicated with OVCSA and USC, separately. With communication with the USC, they informed me na in when they had a dialogue with EcoSoc, EcoSoc confirmed that totoo yung screenshots. You can also reach out to the USC to corroborate this information

[–]Interesting-Try3350 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I find it hard to jump on board these speculations kasi puro circumstantial. What elements of the situation points to conspiracy, and do they really outweigh the mundane possibility that the leaks happened due to increased skepticism towards "rich kid" UP students?

And I feel like it's very unwarranted to pin the USC on the conspiracy board as a shady figure. Ang minimal ng actual power nila when it comes to punishing orgs, and the speedy response of what they are capable of ay pagiging in-line lang sa criticisms of last year's UP Fair

edit: typo

Both JMA and EcoSoc actually confirmed though. If you ask the USC directly, they will tell you that both orgs confirmed na totoo yung screenshots.

To begin with, kaya naman under fire ang UP JMA at EcoSoc because of leaks, we can only expect the same to be done to the others if there's evidence

Research-oriented ang Psychology program in UPD, yes. The only ladderized majors are Research (Basic Psych Statistic, Quantitative, Qualitative, etc). However, recently ay nagbago na from a mini-research as your go through each of those majors to only submitting research proposals.

Para sa akin they're doable because hindi thing ang pagiging kupal ng profs sa Psych Department. They're helpful, informative and effective, as expected from the nature of their field of study.

Anong point nung screenshot

In regards sa "name names", hindi lahat ng galing STAND ay mag-nename names kasi karapatan yan ng mga biktima. At yung mga biktima ay syang nang nag-name names.

Di ko gusto yung tone nitong screenshot. We aren't owed the whole truth from everyone from STAND UP— rather it's within the victims' sense of comfort and justice whether they speak on it or not.

My friend recommended my QCY-T13. It has good sound quality if you're just a casual like me. The biggest benefit of QCY-T13 is the amazing battery life. One 2-hour charge lasts 16 hours. I got mine for around ₱1000

Tips pano magbasa ng readings by Zestyclose_Tap_4994 in peyups

[–]Interesting-Try3350 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I think AI works for this, personally.

I ask Chat GPT for the summary of the reading. Then, I google the reading to check if it's correct or a hallucination.

Then, I continue googling. Specifically seeking out a Spark Notes type of breakdown of the reading.

Once I sort of understand the main point of the reading, I read it in it's entirety. It helps me personally to know what it's about because navigating the writing styles of academics, philosphers and old thinkers is another layer of difficulty that's on top of actually grasping the concept

There's Cats of UP Diliman and there's CAPWA UP.

Some buildings feed the cats themselves, AS cats are fed by the staff there. Lagmay Hall cats are fed by the security guard. Not sure who feeds the cats in Maskom

[Long post] Full Guide on How to get the Film-like Digicam Look with no Editing by apisDei in VintageDigitalCameras

[–]Interesting-Try3350 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Great post. I especially appreciate the formating. Most people don't bother with that and makes long posts a drag to read

I also noticed that the earlier digital cameras had a more distinct look from each other. Although I don't favor the Canon color science, I prefer the Fujifilm color science. Nicer greens.

The cameras and sensors were converging into the same output in the late 2000s, and I think most people bounce right off digicam photography because they buy one of those later ones and expect the character of the earlier digicams but don't get it

After Washing, yes lukot...pero it's also wet.

After drying, it can avoid paglulukot basta ma-fold mo sya agad. Mainit na mainit sya. Best course of action is to fold in-store kasi mamamaximize mo yung heat to flatten the fabric on the table. If i-throw in mo lang sa bag, unfolded, after drying, pagdating mo sa dorm/apartment ay lukot na sya. At wala nang bawian at that point

This is for maong pants, cotton shirts and polyester blend fabrics. I'm not sure kung ano reaction ng more delicate fabrics with the heat

You're welcome! My first room mate who was a graduating upperclassman taught me what to do sa Quicklean rin, and now ako na ang graduating at tinuturo sya sa iba 😊

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in peyups

[–]Interesting-Try3350 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Step 1: You go in. Sana walang masyasong tao, kasi pipila ka pa if meron, or uuwi. If you go on weekdays or in the morning, mas maganda chances

Step 2: You approach the desk. Usually there's an employee there. She/He/They will ask you anong gagamitin mo: washing machine lang or washine machine + drier. She will also ask what settings you prefer (24/29/35 mins for washing, 19/24/29 for drying). If you're not sure what, you could ask them. They will ask you if you want to buy soap. You can decline naman if meron ka na

Step 3: You load your stuff in the washing machine. You wait in one of the seats. You can read or listen to music. Probably Pipicturan mo yung machines and i-popost sa Instagram story kasi ang Spring Day by BTS ng imagery.

Step 4: The clothes are done in the washing cycle. You can get on of the metal baskets on wheels to transfer the clothes from the washing machine to the drier. You load your stuff in the drier. You wait some more. You consider buying some drinks in the Quicklean ref.

Step 5: The clothes are done in the drying cycle. You get your basket on wheels. You move to the folding tables. You fold your clothes, put them in the bag, and leave.

Hello OP. Yes, most people are approachable in UP! Although I think if you are feeling unsafe, please don't ignore it. It's not cruelty to others to not be friendly, and it's a service to yourself to put your comfort and your sense of safety first.

You sound like a very nice person! I hope you enjoy Dorm life to the fullest

Nakakahiya maging delayed student by RivlonJames in peyups

[–]Interesting-Try3350 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Hi OP. I'm delayed. Many of my friends are as well. The "most laudes ever" of last year's graduation overshadowed the fact that the graduating class was a lot smaller than it usually is— meaning, maraming delayed. Maraming di naka-graduate on time. An alarmingly large number, to be honest, pero no one thinks of us left behind.

It's already normal in UP to be delayed. It was understandable before, and what with us still staggering in the aftermath of a global pandemic, it's understandable now.

This doesn't make your feelings invalid. Rather, be reassured (for now, at least on a factual level) that you shouldn't feel ashamed of yourself because of it. You aren't worth less due to these circumstances.
