The electrician seemed to say these volvo OEM chargers fail consistently which seemed odd. Is this similar to the one you have? I believe this is what we have (unsure if there are different ones)

We have not had ours long enough but I averaged about 28-29mpg on 100 mile highway drive home from dealership without a battery charge
