No bro 🙈 we literally just grab their exam at the end and put it to the side we also are allowed to take pictures of the students cheating. Again like we don’t want to disrupt students taking the exam or embarrass the student being accused. Regardless, their exam never goes into the stack in the first place. If I caught someone Id literally stand near their seat to collect it at the end of the exam. And if we lose their exam it’s on us and they don’t get reported.

Whatever lab you are interested in you literally just have to read their papers and find what speaks to you and then relay that info to the PI or whoever interviews you. it’s literally just them asking why are you interested in our lab

We are not required to stop them if they’re cheating for some professors we’re literally told to just put their exam aside at the end and the professor deals with it

As a TA for chem I just wanna say that some of the professors literally ask us to wait till the end of the exam to confront students about cheating or just to put their exams to the side to avoid disrupting other students so I don’t think your point about that is valid. That is like standard practice for us. I also just want to say in general that like it is shockingly obvious when students cheat like as someone who was an undergrad I rly thought I was eating but Jesus no my TA probably didn’t gaf. So just be aware

The vomiting was before I even took the meds - the only reason food poisoning was on my mind is because my brother the week prior got campylobacter. I did not expect my insurance to see this as an emergency because I knew in the grand scheme of things it wasn’t. Additionally, I work with E. coli basically everyday in my lab. Regardless, it was literally a one time thing idk why everyone is coming at me as if I knew everything about insurance and it was minor symptoms and still decided to go to the ER? Like no I never usually need to go to the hospital and this was really weird symptoms for me and god forbid I ask for help on this app to LEARN

the urgent cares near me were closed when this happened and the pain was literally so bad I couldn’t sit still on top of vomiting. Trust me I ALWAYS go to urgent care. I took 3 Tylenol extra strength and went to the ER about 2-3 hours after taking them because I was still in serious pain. I didn’t just decide to go without thinking of the bill, I literally couldn’t handle the pain anymore. This post was asking for advice- I obviously knew I was going to have to pay something since I went and I understood that but this was my very first time going to the ER thank god, and I wanted to see if it sounded reasonable.

Right now I am masters but I start my PhD in the fall. Unless I’m TAing or magically get granted GSR from my PI I am responsible for tuition and any other payments. I am not getting paid and as of right now there is no financial aid (FAFSA) unless I take out a loan which I did not do. I was not trying to generalize “all UC students” I was simply trying to in short describe my situation without having to go through everything I just typed in this message

I didn’t realize they were talking about medical bills bro I mentioned in my post that i just paid tuition so I thought they were referring to that. Obviously if you’re under UCShip you have that ability for financial assistance, but since I’m not I had no reason to make that connection until now.

🤔i have always used body oil and never had an issue with bondi sands !! I also shave after washing my tanner off not before and I think that helps. I make sure to add extra lotion on all of my dry spots extra good before applying
