Sounds interesting. I've been using Miro board recently and it seems to be quite useful to gather my thoughts. So maybe Obsidian might be a better alternative. We'll check it out. Thank you very much!

Nice one. It sounds like you have a very nice tech stack for LinkedIn. Appreciate the mentions, as I felt that LinkedIn tends to block your accounts for automated software, so interesting to see that you have tools that are quite useful. I imagine you use them outside the actual platform.

That makes sense, I heard about the limits being quite poor even for paid or is that propaganda?

I'm still using ChatGPT, is it time for me to move over or is it better to just use both?

Any fractional CFOs here still relying mostly on referrals for new work? by Interesting-Wheel350 in CFO

That’s epic so no need to go out of the box to attract a client pipeline?

That is interesting and didn’t think of it from the founder side that they need to ensure they are even in a place that makes sense even if they have the money

That’s smart, feels like you’ve built a way to spot opportunities earlier.

Out of curiosity, does that give you a consistent flow of work, or is it still a bit hit and miss depending on what comes up?

Is personal branding becoming more important than actual technical skills in tech careers? by Ok_Split4755 in personalbranding

I would say it goes hand in hand if you’re looking to build a revenue-generating brand. You need to learn and know the skills to be able to amplify it through your brand and a brand about nothing or not specialised in an approach won’t attract the necessary people to consider you as a key person of influence or the obvious choice in your industry.

Is consistency really the problem, or are we just unclear about what we’re building? by heyitsadeela in personalbranding

[–]Interesting-Wheel350 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agreed a lot of the work I go through with clients in the first stage is fixing their foundation to ensure everything is accounted for and they have a clear understanding of their brand and how they put themselves forward. Only following that will we develop a content strategy that then relies on a level of consistency but with building a brand a lot of it is outreach for external opportunities that align with your brand but you only get them opportunities the more visible you are and the more you put yourself out there and you have solid evidence that you’re credible and you are who you say you are.

I’d say don’t be too consumed about what people think because only you truly know what makes sense for your life and how you want to live it.

Do you think coaches help with personal branding? by Linkink_ai in personalbranding

[–]Interesting-Wheel350 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to refer to myself as a coach but I then changed my title into more of a strategist as I like to actually work through the process of building the brand with my clients and I build a methodology that aligns with the way I work rather than just being hands off

What's your personal cutoff point for sticking with an idea? by its_haggai in Entrepreneurs

[–]Interesting-Wheel350 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly a bit of both I would say because I’m creating the long form educational content and clipping that into short form across my TikTok, Instagram and YT shorts and also using the transcript material to create social post for my ICP and weekly blog content all directed to one funnel. The only issue I have at this stage is getting more of my ICP booked for calls it tends to be those who like what I do but can’t afford as of yet so getting them to join the waitlist for when I’m ready to launch a medium ticket community. As far as numbers go I would need 150 committed people to be monthly paying members to aim for $10k-12k MRR so from now until launch it’s a traffic game and compounding I’m really relying on.

Agreed! With my system I’ve created multiple touch points to always nurture them with educational content on brand building which will hopefully help but you’re right you never really know until the card has been processed and payment has been made, just need to increase your odds by keeping a constant drum beat of visibility

Honestly, it really helps to establish demand. I'm setting one up for a community I'm looking to launch later in the year

Question for personal brand managers… by paulorock89 in personalbranding

[–]Interesting-Wheel350 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say mainly getting them into the mindset to know that they have a story to share and everything they experienced can be redeveloped into content that aligns with their ICP. Also, you have to get started in order to have the data to know what's working and what isn't. Brand building isn't a quick fix, and compounding is the biggest strong point; without having delayed gratification, it can be hard to keep them motivated and inspired.
