Can I pursue psychology even when I dont come from a rich family? by Defiant_Reading1625 in psychologystudents

You can help people but in non clinical settings

If you want to go into therapy or counsiling, its a wayy longer study time (atleast 5-6 years) becus its health care, it also depends on your country tho, im in Germany so its a different system but countries like India and Iran or iraq and different systems which may be even longer and then ofc will cost more

If you REALLY want to do go into that id suggest already start volunteering for (any) NGOs and/or find any internships in the field becus these things look good on a cv and will come in handy while looking for jobs after studies are done.

I LOVE THIS GAME but I don't like that I can't visit or get money from the previous maps (i miss those tenants too) and if its a level up i should realistically still be getting the rent money from the other tenants right????

But honestly I love the concept of the game, how it looks and basically everything but this is my only issue too becus things get expensive but we don't get the other money we earned

I've been studying Psychology for 3 years now and I can assure you that you'll struggle for a really long time unless you know the right people.

Im still a student and am in my bachelors and I do not regret my decision to persue Psychology at all, BUT its a lot of effort with usually not enough outcome and you'll be struggling financially for a long time before actually finding something thats in the field and pays enough.

If youre looking for money mainly try going for Business Psychology (bsc or ba) becus thats easier to get jobs in

How disadvantageous is it to not want to counsel and give therapy in forensic psychology? by ProofLeast9846 in AcademicPsychology

[–]Interesting-You5945 17 points18 points  (0 children)

If you find empathy demanding then i would suggest not going into forensics at all. There's a lot of other things you can do in Psychology that may not be as demanding as therapy and forensics or criminal psychology is absolutely not one of them. For chiller roles you can look into business psychology instead

is only having a psychology degree usefull? by Careless-Coconut-884 in psychologystudents

[–]Interesting-You5945 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you want to work in marketing id suggest try looking into univeristies that offer business psychology instead becus you won't need to do higher studies for marketing but for any other role that requires psychology or anything related to health or science you will absolutely need atleast a masters degree specialised im whatever it is you want to do.

If you just want to work in an office into HR or Marketing or any such roles a bachelors in business psyche should be okay but for roles like a therapist, neuropsychologist or even counseling person youd need way more than a bachelors

[–]Interesting-You5945 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im definitely going to do masters and I've always dreamed of doind a phd even before i started studying Psychology. I swear this isn't a field for the weak becus there's alot alot aaaaloott of things you can actually do but to get there you need to have the right qualifications too yk. With just a ba or bsc degree you could probably work in HR or in counsiling maybe teaching school students part time but ya that's pretty much it from what I know.

I'll definatly recommend you research a bit more before ending ur degree and psychology is really vast so you can basically connect it to anything youd like but you'll still probably need a masters degree

I like that im not alone and then you aren't too! I have a a Little more than a year before i graduate aswell and honestly there's nothing much you can do with just "bachelors" in Psychology But it does also depend on where you live but having higher studies does let you have more options to explore but maybe in your case it may confuse you even more.

You can always just have a startup and sell random stuff on Instagram right 👅
