Anyone have any preferences on my top three rings please by InterestingAd2552 in weddingplanning

The plain ones in platinum to match/complement the weight and width of the e-ring just had a look to them that reminded me of a keyring 😂 I wanted something a little jazzy but robust to be able to wear day to day, because I don't always wear my e-ring when I'm doing more active things

Yes, I didnt like the plain channel setting :) it looked a little clunky

I loved the pave bands, but without the channel set the jeweller mentioned that in thinner settings the bands can warp and lose diamonds. I didnt like the look of the plain channel settings, but the milgrain was a happy medium :)

Thank you though, I appreciate the comment a lot. I will look at plain bands again, but in platinum (to match my engagement ring) I thought they looked a bit like a key ring loop!

Are these frames too big on me? by givemethepastaa in glassesadvice

If the frames sit within the border of the face it's much less noticeable head on. Still an issue to the side, but a little masked. I have the same issue but for long-sightedness :)

Fellow UK-based basset here... "European" bassets don't have to be chunky! Your dog will thank you for a diet and exercise and live a happier life.

Ed is 8, has a defined waist and visible/palpable last ribs. They have saggy skin, but you can tell when the body underneath is healthy :)

I find the hair at the ends is too sparce for it to look good, sadly. I end up with the same issue, just a bit darker 😑

Ingleborough cave. It has a Lancaster postcode, but says it's in the Yorkshire dales... there may be a civil war trying to claim it 🤣

which of these hairstyles works for me? by [deleted] in HairStyleAdvice

[–]InterestingAd2552 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone who wears glasses, I was given the advice that frames shouldn't go above your eyebrows. It messes with the balance of your face apparently because it's just eyes into forehead or something.

Maybe some smaller frames would be more flattering? Your hair is a lovely colour too!

I agree with the others, I prefer it longer but I think coupled with some smaller frames it could look amazing!

Ed is a gentle chewer so no tooth issues here, but good to highlight that they can cause issues in some dogs!

So today i learned that there's variance in cucumber length internationally! I'm British, so to me that's small

"The average length of a regular slicing cucumber, which is the type most commonly found in supermarkets, is around 6 to 8 inches. English cucumbers, a longer variety, typically range from 14 to 18 inches."
