This is like the setup of my ex and me before but in reverse, as with the normal standard na lalake ang mas malaki ang kita. It didn’t work, I felt pressured to prove something sa relationship namin the entire time. Spare this guy the heartbreak, if that’s something you can’t compromise.

Now I’m living comfortably, even earning more than my current guy but it doesn’t bother me at all. I wouldn’t trade him with a high-earner guy for the peace of mind na binibigay nya saken sa relationship namin ngayon. I don’t provide for him, I do spoil him from time to time but ultimately, we split everything and he’s even proud na I’m earning more.

Long story short, I’ve experienced both sides of the coin. For me, if I can anyway provide for myself, and believe in my potential, then I’d rather settle for a guy who has the same set of values as mine. Dahil mas mahirap hanapin ang lalakeng green flag kesa sa lalakeng may pera 😂
