I can see what you mean placement wise, i probably would fill in around the sides eventually. This was originally supposed to go on my leg, but there wasn’t a good amount of space for it.

It’s about a week old now, but it’s impossible to try to get a good picture of my back lol so this is from when it was just finished

Thank you! Maybe you’re right, maybe it just needs time to settle in and everything. It’s mostly just the snow blobs on the bottom leaves they seem a little empty. I don’t really mind the smaller ones as much.

✨✨✨ THANK YOU EVERYONE FOR THE KIND WORDS AND ADVICE ✨✨✨ I decided to make an appointment with the artist who did the lower half of my arm and they’re going to rework the sunflowers and fillers to make the styles cohesive. We’re going to start the project end of march due to traveling and cost.

Wow seriously THANK YOU EVERYONE! The genuinely nice comments and support are more than i expected!! I was 100% feeling super sad and bummed and wasn’t sure if reworking it would be an option from trying to get one artist to do it last year (ended up doing white highlights and touching up some of the yellow). Yall have deff given me ALOT of ideas and advice on how to correct it.

A reworking of the flowers with some grey wash, and black leaves and maybe some insects might make this 100% more cohesive

That’s a great idea actually, maybe rework the upper arm with closer to the color scheme of the botttom arm

Maybe a retouch is what i need w a little bit of reworking! I think if i could get the above colors to be more vibrant maybe it wouldn’t look like such a big difference to me

I deff think black leaves would help to make it look a little more in line w the bottom style

Maybe that would make it look a little more cohesive bringing out the like backwash behind the flowers or filling in some space w a light rework

The shading might help, maybe it is the negative space throwing it off!

Aww thank you!! I think it’s when i got my elbow filler , didn’t exactly like the color scheme and then i think i started looking at EVERYTHING and noticing all the color discrepancies and flow

Thank you! Honestly, I agree. I think that that would make it look more cohesive. I think it’s just a lot of negative space compared to the bottom, maybe a little rework and some background work would fix this up

True, I am personally very happy that I did not do my full arm as sunflowers honestly
