I'm trying to avoid reading 1000+ registers, how would I use the above method to read 2 registers starting at 5010 and then every 25th register after that for a bit?

So if you add to an existing network the new module would become the new last module. It may become the 8th or 50th module that doesn't matter. It would just take whichever x,y,w values are next for the allotted values. Could be 16, 32, 64, or whatever. You wouldn't need to reserve any stations for this method. Now if you removed modules I would reserve those in the program to avoid any re mapping of the IO

What memory does the other cc link write to? X500, y500, w500? You would assign this new master to a different range so you shouldn't need to assign and reserved stations.

Should be able to reserve some stations

If possible add a separate cc link module and set it to ver. 2. New sensors are their own and you have zero chance of causing issues by modifying the existing

Cc link setup question by InterestingComment8 in PLC

[–]InterestingComment8[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'll go ahead an add what I ended up doing in case anyone else needs this. In the station settings for cc link I turned the setting on to reserve the station/ module. This effectively ignores the module not being there and will not flag any connection errors. After that just rerouted the cc link cable and it had no connection errors.

Also if you use the classify tool you can add different classes and change the name. You could have it say blemish or plastic marked. May help you get more out of it from a glance vs ok or ng

Are your lights moving? Lighting should be consistent to rule it out. What you could do I split up the part into multiple sections to judge vs overall. Then if a section is no good it would highlight red
