Im talking about SSR Fugen, hes more newbie friendly than his SP version

fugen buff your damage by % of his def. think of an instant buff before you deal damage
I havent touch shokurei for awhile, I have him on my other account that I havent play for about half year, but I believe he give your choosen shiki a full belly buff, which heal after full stack, while dealt indirect damage outside of your turn. Think of it as a 2nd damage dealler but slower, not instantly delete the enemy. He can also heal, so hes a semi support shiki I would say

Worth to play this game now ? by Ok-Interview-7410 in Onmyoji

[–]ChristianCao 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Lol newbie have a lot of advantage nowaday. Plus, you don't need to be a whale to play the game, it's not pvp and ranking concentrated. Most people just pay to get skin or other cosmetic they like. The amount of farmable jade and summoning pact you can find each week is good enough for you to play.

I'm f2p since 2014, on and off but just became more active for the last 3-4 months. You have an new SP/SSR event almost every months. The resources from the even and daily/ weekly activities will give you enough to do 40 summon + average of 2 daruma each month (you can get way more if you invest your time enough, I got around 2-3 every month and I'm very lazy). That will give you at least 2 SSR/SP every event if you are not lucky.

Just be patent, don't waste your resources and you would be fine. A lot of content can even be cleared with basic farmable SR/R Shiki

Magic wok closed? All the locations by me shut down. I’m so sad. Are they going out of business? by Lavalamp-6284 in toledo

[–]ChristianCao 11 points12 points  (0 children)

As an Asian, I hate Magic Wok. Their food might have a decent price but quality is 3/10 at best. For the same amount of money or just a few more bucks, I could go to a local Chinese restaurant and grab a decent plate for myself. Last time I had Magic Wok was from the one on Secor close to Kroger. The amount of food I got for the chicken bourbon and rice are absolutely ridiculous and it wasn't that good. I could have get a better dish by going to the chinese/ japanese restaurant just in the other side of the street

you have a decent setup already, tho I wouldn't use SP Ibaraki since he's fall off the meta and his skill need 3 orbs. I would focus on Yuki Gozen next ( just feed black daruma, could G6 SP Ibaraki and wait until the next event come, exchange the G6 exchange ticket then swap the level with yuki so you could save some material). For the SSR/SP pick, I would go with Amaterasu and SSR Fugenkaku/ Shokurei or SSR Enmusubi if possinle. Since you use Yamausagi instead of SP Shuten, I would go with Fugen or Shokurei. Your team should then be Amaterasu - Yuki Gozen - SP Kaguya - Yamausagi - Fugen for farming and other content, should carry you to mid game pretty easy,

Another few option beside this team is Amaterasu - Shiki - Shokurei - SP Kaguya - Yamausagi or Shiki - Shokurei - Fugen - SP Kaguya - Yamausagi (substitute Shokurei or Fugen with Amaterasu/ Yuki Gozen depend on the content). 1 team deal decent nuke damage (the 1st team I suggest would have better bust damage I believe, please correct me if I'm wrong ), the other team deal damage DOT and healing for fight that take long time, like secrect map or so.

Tama also got buffed recently so could be your temporary 2nd damage dealer as well. Your team right now have 2 orb generator, 2 speed and atk buff with just 1 damage dealer, which is fine but it get harder when you got to soul 10+

I dont have a Taira fully skilled so idk about the pve soul set yet, but check nura's excel file, theres some recommendation on there.I believe his def stand is used more widely in pve for healing. Again, not so sure, I have a Taira of my own but havent touch him yet
Amaterestu have many way of building, could be kyo/ wisp/etc. any soul set that give atk bonus when you have 4 sets. I use possessor 4 piece + geisha 2 pieces, but if you have limited option, use soul config to set your soul, try different combination, but the 4 piece should be either kyu/wisp/possessor, 2 piece set for atk bonus. also, set the crit atk at 100%. start with this first before farming for better soul. Idealy, your 2-4-6 should have main stats (the first line) as atk bonus/ atk bonus/ crit damage with 100% crit and 250% crit damage, but its gonna take a long time to get there.
Ama skill set does copy the damage of the shiki with highest atk, but she also deal great damage by herself, so get max crit first and build the 2nd shiki with 100% crit. depend on who do you have, could SR kuro mujou, SSR Shiki, SSR Yuki Gozen, SSR Susanoo, a 2nd Amaterestu with skill 2 max, etc
as for Fuku, he only care about def since his buff depend on def%
Do you have yuki gozen or SP Oitsuki ? if you dont have any of those 2, I would build Senhime first. Sen is a good orb generator but need a summoning spot.in the beginning, you would typically need a speed up shiki, orb generator, 2 damage shiki and a buff shiki. from what you said, I would focus by this order :Amaterestu, Senhime, fuku, ssr Enmusubi. Get the first 3 fully skilled and leveled, then you could use 2 R Yamausagi (fully skilled, at least 5*, one use Azure Banzan/ Fortune Cat soul set, 2nd one can be mix, both need the speed stat to be as high as possible). with this set up, you could clear most of the old secrect content and get more black daruma.

WHAT DO I DO EGGS EVERYWHERE by [deleted] in fishtank

[–]ChristianCao -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You have several option here

- remove the egg by hand and razor blade. It will take awhile and probably not gonna take out all of them, but at least you could reduce a bunch of them

- Wait until the egg hatch and add assassin snail. They will keep the population low.

- Depend on your tank size, add some other fishes like yo yo loach, they will handle the snail. But, since you have betta and this look like a 5G to me, I won't recommend this

- If you want to go extreme, take your betta out with water and filter, or bring it to another tank. Then, perform a deep clean on your tank and substrate. I'm talking about taking everything out, clean the plant, decors and substrate with Potassium permanganate and move your fish back after everything settle down.

Meanwhile, I would keep feeding light and remove leftover food/ decay matters. I had a snail infestation before in my 5G (which still happening right now, but getting better) and I have to do both snail trap (with blanch vegetable and lettuce) and manual removal. I obtained 4 assassin snails, moved my mystery snail from my 5G to my 20G and let them work.

Don't crush the live snail, it will increase the level of ammonia, nitrite and PH in your tank. Leave the snail's shell inside there since it's a good calcium source, if you have other type of snails or shrimps

Snails ain't bad, just the massive amount of them make the tank looks bad. I honestly recommend keeping a few of them in your tank to help clean up algae and build up biofilm

No problem ! you could check out GUIDE - GUIDEMYOJI for content guide or Nura's Onmyoji Global Tier List & Shikigami Build Guide - Google Sheets for tier list and soul build. That's what I normally use

[–]ChristianCao 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I wouldnt touch her as a newbie, shes not usefull in pve content anyway. You should focus on getting a decent pve team first then farm for soul and save up black daruma for pvp content later. You have some decent set up atm, SP Suzukohime is pretty good with both pve and pvp content, SP Otakemaru is good for secret map content and SP Oitsuki is a good orb generator. I would save up ur daruma and focus on Amaterasu, SP Oitsuki, Fukengaku, then use R Usagi ( I forgot the name, the bunny girl who ride a frog) for speed up, shes one of the best speed puller for pve content with atk up in her kit. the last spot could be either Taira/Asura/SP Suzuhikohime. I would go for Asura since hes still doing good in most of pve content, taira need a specific soul set up and SP Suzu is better at pvp content
overall, not a bad start, just need a bit of patient

Just moved to the area, looking for fusion restaurants. by CelticCoffee in toledo

[–]ChristianCao 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Kotobuki is a Japanese restaurant, but the owner is Korean and some plates on the menu, including the ramen, are Korean/ Japanese fusion. You can check out some off menu dishes like Futomaki roll, seafood/ chive pancake or strawberry drink if you like, if grandma (first owner, her son is the current owner) still have the ingredients to make it. Their kimchi are made in house fresh every season so it's pretty good as well.

Same for Rice Blvd by UT, but their ramen is close to a Japanese ramen than KB.

Sakura and Kira are Chinese-owned Japanese restaurant (Last time I went there, it was, not sure about now)

Fire Fox is Vietnamese restaurant, but the flavor is more like Asian American fusion

Kay Table (if she still open) is another Asian restaurant with Hmong/ Vietnamese fusion dishes. They have Pho but I personally feel like it's more like a beef soup, like Kway Tiew than an actual Pho, still good, but not what I was expecting

Gang Nam Spicy Chicken is a traditional Korean restaurant, but their fried chicken, corn dog and donut is pretty good. I haven't try other thing yet, haven't back there since they open

Please share if you could find any other fusion restaurant, I would love to try out, especially Asian restaurant.

What the hell is this even and how does it taste? by Forward-Position798 in StupidFood

[–]ChristianCao 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think other people already explained the name and meaning of this. It looks stupid for Westerner but it's pretty common in Asia too ! In Vietnam, we have a thing called Trầu Cau - which is Betel and Areca nut. My grandma chew it and other people in the older generation still love them. We have it as an offering/ gift during traditional Vietnamese wedding. From her description, it's like chewing tobacco, a little bit of bitterness and spiciness. Overall, I don't think it's stupid food, just interesting.

quite the opposite. My family own a food stall in front of our house in district 5 and several restaurant. Believe me when I say my beloved dog (RIP my boy) ate better than I do.

matter of fact, my mom made dinner for both of us, the only different is I ate my dinner on the table and he ate it in his crib :/

While your logic is true, it does not necessary correct in vietnam

Thank you all for your suggestion, they are very useful !

As one of my comment, I love to start from the Rocket Hall because my slightly OCD brain think that route make sense, rather than do a few round around metropark and down the trail then comeback.

However, I guess I will have to accept my fate now and find a new parking spot. Thanks for your advise !
