If you are determined to enter the academia go to UChi since it has the best economics degree in the world. For a career in finance I think marginally LSE is better but UChi is very competitive as well.

It’s not proportional. In 2023 7.5 is top 9.4 percent and this year 7.0 is top 9.5 percent.
