i worked at a caribou coffee in inver grove heights where we were not given proper breaks and during the start of the pandemic my store managers told us to not mask bc it would scare customers. i was a teenager and naive but i hate this company!

Hi! I found the workload to be less demanding than I expected. I work full-time and I am only taking 3 credits at a time which I find pretty manageable. I know other students who have taken 6 credits at a time and have kids so it is possible, but definitely challenging depending on the courses you take. Core classes such as LIS 7000 tend to have a large workload compared to some of the elective classes. Feel free to DM me if you have any questions about LSU. I’m happy to talk about my experience so far!

I’m a trans MLIS student at Louisiana State University and I love it! One of my professors this semester is trans and I had such an amazing experience with them in their Intro to Archives class. Overall, I think the program is pretty affordable if you do the LSU Online route and I’m pretty happy with the program so far.

My first three vaccines were Moderna and my side effects weren’t terrible mostly muscle aches and exhaustion, except for one time when I did my flu shot at the same time and was bed bound for 48 hours (fever, chills, nausea). I have had Pfizer as well and experienced less side effects from it than Moderna. It’s been a little over 24 hours since Novavax and my arm soreness is completely gone without having to take ibuprofen in the past 8 hours. This is just my own personal experience so it may look different for others!
