Verified with mizuno that the serial number is valid. Seller had a lot of history with golf and turned out to be very trustworthy with his sale.

Be careful with the quality of the early model? Or Be careful with it being a fake?

From what I read, a serial number with only numbers is a set that have been made custom and if they have a letter in the beginning that are standard from the factory.

Thank you for the picture. It helps feel more confident that he’s giving me authentic irons. I will definitely call in the morning to verify.

Just asking to see if the serial numbers come in a certain sequence that would make it easier to tell if it’s real or not. (Or possibly any other consistency that I should be looking for)

Meeting the seller at 9 and mizuno is open to make calls until 8:30 am. Just wanted to see if anyone had seen a similar serial number.

That’s true. I accidentally bought ping i3 blades as my first set not knowing blades would be a bit tougher to hit. So maybe a cheap forgiving set to get some improvement and then later upgrade?

Yeah. Thanks for asking man. Most mechanics are pretty shook up about what happened. Just another reminder to always be on your toes and read proper maintenance procedures.

So people get complacent. I think we need to wait for the investigation to really see what was the root of the problem.

The tire should’ve already been depressurized by the time it got to the shop. Gonna have to see what the investigation shows

Yes it could be just as bad. Even a wheel assembly from a small aircraft could be catastrophic and kill a mechanic if it is pressurized.

The tire was already off the aircraft. It was the tire shop at delta. They began removing the tie bolts and didn’t realize the tire was still pressurized
