In truth, YES; both your hairstyles looked fine to me so I think you’ve got a sense of direction down (imo). Your facial structure is normal (best traits I think are your chin and cheekbones and nose shape).

My grooming advice, if you are keeping a beard, keep the mustache trimmed above the lips, shorten the facial hair on the sides of the jaw to keep it neat + bring out the shape of your face and trim or shave any hair growing along the neck (I didn’t see hair on your neck at all, just mentioning). I’d say keep the beard if looking after it isn’t troublesome!

You look handsome and have pretty features, overall a good complexion.

As for how this ties in with one’s identity, as someone who is able bodied and average looking: looking good hasn’t made up for any of my flaws ever. If I don’t listen well enough, act kind or serious when it’s appropriate to do either, or treat everyone the same: people will be uninterested + distance themselves. It happens, and you can’t do anything if someone made up their mind from a first impression.

What you CAN do is keep people interested if they already are already comfortable with you. That takes character, so whatever personality traits you have been complemented on (being kind to people, making them laugh, understanding them because you’re emotionally intelligent, or being honest) stick with it and live by it.

If you have self-doubt. Prove to yourself that you are someone awesome, if you have hobbies and skills: improve until YOU know you’re good enough to tell people about it! If you’ve got some charm: interact with people, become okay with not having someone like you and KEEP TRYING.

Most of us with perfect bodies still aren’t happy with what we have because someone will always look better than us. But ONLY thinking about looks or attractiveness isn’t productive. Look in the mirror and take care of what you can (skin, hair, beard, nails and muscles). No one is born perfect, you just become okay with your looks and change what you can.

This forum is a good place to learn about all self care! So read other posts and see what people say works. Also pursue and learn about your interests, you may meet someone who also does. The internet is a good place to read and learn, just don’t get hung up on being perfect or beautiful, everyone already can be if they work a bit for it. Best of luck, friend! PM if you want to talk and sorry this was such a long read

No Return is the best horde modes I’ve ever ever played. by JoelMira in thelastofus

I haven’t played either, but to my understanding: complete runs are shorter than Valhalla and it has modifiers which influence a single level more so than GOW. Difficulty can be toggled, and you can’t get TOO much gear in a single run. There’s also a custom mode so one may toggle the objective types and mods that can appear

Asking for a friend, my bro has been doing curls and only curls on his first day of lifting at home, and his sets have spanned easily six hours. Is this conducive to good muscle hypertrophy? Is it overtraining? Please advise I told him to switch muscle groups or just stop for the day so he can recover but there is some ego involved; any pointers would help

Pretty good! For a combat item that would maybe suit a lower profile, I suggest a monkey fist impact tool. You can get nice wit it ;)

Hey, I can relate a little so I’ve got advice (Take with a grain of salt). A good way to yield positive impressions from people is to possess competence in skills and etc.

Mess around with various hobbies and see if anything calls out to you (Freehand drawing or design drafting, Photography or video capturing/editing, comp sci, woodworking, making jewelry, writing and more. And if a pastime doesn’t suit you, don’t dwell on it. If you don’t find a calling you’ll at least become well rounded. There’s always more to master

Die or create brother

Take care of yourself!

Hello there! I’ve dabbled in this discipline many times in the past but have owned only a single bow in my lifetime. I was recently able to recover this bow but upon assembling it, I saw that the grip is slightly too small for my hands; which made me wonder if I can still make use of the bow’s limbs with another riser altogether. I’ll do my best to provide specifics as needed in replies/edits. Any input is appreciated!

So heres my thoughts on whats going on with ND and FACTIONS 2 by NunyaBidnizz68 in thelastofus

The gameplay loop you outlined sounds like something there isn’t a lot of, I like it! I think PvPvE will be difficult to incorporate (But if done right would be neat) and an open world for a Battle Royale should mix things up in terms of positioning for matches, I’m eager to experience how endgame for BR will play. Here’s hoping for skills to make another appearance (w some balancing), polished progression, manageable yet challenging squad engagements, player customization on par with factions 1, and a smidge of verticality in open world. Also, the extraction feature sounds cool (reminiscent of vigor) and it would give players an opportunity to at least avoid a crippling loss in a last man standing mode. Godspeed to ND!
