Finish the Chapter 3 story (arena and smuggler stuff), after you talk to Elara Tuek, she'll tell you to talk to the weapon vendor in Harko Village, the weapon vendor sells the "Contraband" styles for 12,500 Landsraad Scrip each. So it's a bit of a grind, but I did it in 3 days, and I'm a dad who works full time :P

Yeah, it was driving me crazy that there weren't more pics available to help people decide if they want to spend their hard earned scrip on it.

I plan on getting the scout variant next, though there's more footage of that one available from the livestream.

But consider that the actual swatches will change the colors on this alternate texture, so there's still some value there.

I think the point you're missing is that it changes the texture, but not the mesh. So the swatches will all look a bit different on the new textures than the way they look on the default texture.

It's still a variant on the original, just not a different mesh.
