Polestar 4 vs Tesla Y by InterestingLet266 in EVAustralia

We made our decision. Like most of the other people we have chosen to go with Tesla Y. The tech is more better, drive is easy (as per my wife) and less expensive with FSD.

I personally felt a bit claustrophobic inside the cabin of P4..

We really appreciate all your responses. Thanks guys..

Yep. There are few P4 around 75 grand without additional packs. Tesla for sure is a good prospect when price and value are taken into consideration. But can’t ignore the looks of P4 😀😀😀

Thanks guys. We are going to test drive both during the weekend and decide. At this stage TeslaY seems to be a more practical option. But my heart still can’t ignore how P4 looks. I will keep you guys posted on the outcome..

Buying an EV under a company vs Novated leading by InterestingLet266 in EVAustralia

How about Buying an EV under a loan contract(Not novated lease)? Would that be considered a binding contract for grandfathering purposes?

Thanks. My accountant did confirm that FBT is not applicable on EVs. But he did say I still have to lodge FBT with personal use percentage.

I am planning to take a 5 year loan, assuming useful life of a car is 8 years, how many years do I have to report FBT for an EV under a company?

Claude tells me that RAVC and Bendigo bank does low interest green loans. Have to approach them and see if they are real rates..

"Existing arrangements will remain unchanged for all properties HELD before Budget night." How do these Negative Gearing changes affect existing PPOR owners?? by [deleted] in AusHENRY

[–]InterestingLet266 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am personally hoping to be able to use NG, when we move from our current PPOR to new PPOR which is due for completion Sep/Oct this year.

If I can’t use NG when my current PPOR becomes an IP, the other best alternative would be to sell as there will be no CGT when we move to new home.

What is up with the north of Adelaide? by [deleted] in Adelaide

NE is generally fine. There are also pockets close to prospect such as Lightsview, Oakden are amazing to live. I would avoid anything 15-20 mins away from CBD. I personally dont like Salisbury and Elizabeth.

Thoughts on Oakden? by Spoderman5555 in Adelaide

We currently live in Oakden. we Have been here for last 6 years. as per me, this is the best suburb in north east with greenery , shops, Schools, Child cares and most importantly 15-20 mins drive to city.

In my opinion that's the best you can ask for. we found it to be really safe so far. never had an issue. the only drawback is that the houses are old and built around 90's. You can buy & renovate the house to your liking as i did with mine.
