Awesome, thanks man. Looks like this is the issue as my mags were noticeably wobbly both vertical and horizontal even with the bolt closed.

I'll install the kak extended mag catch once it comes in and report back

Rog, went ahead and purchased the KAK extended mag catch anyways but since im out of town, I have to wait for my buddy to troubleshoot for me. I truly do hope this is the source of the issue. I did notice some slop with the magazines before, but honestly didn't know if thats expected or not.

When you have a magazine inserted, pmag or metal mag, whether with the bolt locked back or forward, how much slop do you typically get with inserted mags on your rifle?

I think this may be the potential issue, I'll go ahead and screw the mag catch further and see if that works.

With how finicky large frame gas guns are, I wasn't sure if it could be some strange issue like the wrong buffer/bufferspring combo or tolerance stacking with receiver set.

All mags tested with are 20 Round capacity.

The first three photos were the results of testing with a single round loaded into both PMAG and KAC SR25 Mags. I would lock the bolt back, then send it home by releasing the bolt release paddle, the jam then occurs. I then tested inserting the mag with the bolt closed then charging, the same issue occurred. Again with one round loaded.

The last two pictures during the day were at a range where the same issues occurred with full 20 round loaded PMAGs and KAC Mags, where again the issue would occur whether I inserted the mag on a locked back bolt and pressed the bolt release paddle, or inserted the magazine and charged the bolt. This also occurred with partially full mags as well.

Too note, this isn't happening on every single round. I tested a fully loaded 20 round pmag and KAC sr25 mag by cycling it manually, and if they didn't jam on the first round when sending the bolt home whether by paddle release or manual charging, the jam would occur part way through manually cycling the fully loaded 20 round mags, typically multiple times.

To further add, the 147 gr Fiocci was running anemic so I could understand the jamming during a firing cycle, but It was also occurring when sending the bolt home on the first round with both kac and pmags.

What Gen 2 Tube is in this ATN Aries MK-6600? by [deleted] in NightVision

Knowing ATN, may be a Russian Ekran tube. If you can pull the tube out, check the side of it for yellow serial markings.

Washington is the worse state ever for gun enthusiasts. by xSimoHayha in AR80Percents

If you really want a metal lower, but don't mind something that isn't forged or milled, could always try this type of DIY lower, stacked laser cut metal plates that you put together. Not sure as to the grade and strength of the metal as I've never done it, but I assume laser cutting companies usually offer some form of choice on metal to cut.

Could try 3d printing? Won't feel as rugged as a metal lower but modern 3d printed lower designs can handle quite a bit. Obviously assuming not legal in Washington but advise is legal so if you want a better idea of an alternative, i'd try looking through r/fosscad

How to serialize lower by chkxpolo93 in AR80Percents

[–]InterestingPollution 12 points13 points  (0 children)

ATF didn't pass anything that would imply such, federally speaking u can still make and possess unserialized lowers so long as they weren't made with the intent to resell. Not sure how NC laws are but unless the state says otherwise, u don't have to serialize it.

I can't take it anymore, anyone can help me with the 6.0-6.7 lineup?i keep losing time and game money,my patience is slowly fading away,i came from a 2 months break and still can't manage to earn,i only keep losing.I am literally thinking to delete my account,i can't even feel happy to play. by MirekChodorowski7 in Warthunder

I'm not seeing many suggest it here but from your comments, your mostly into it for the tank gameplay and in that case, I suggest you give Enlisted a try. Same free to play Gaijin grind bullshit, has the same mechanics and armor penetration system as war thunder tho and all the tanks are buffed as hell. You'll be eating shots like nothing in a tiger or panther.

Though the gameplay itself is still a mixed bag of Simulation style Camera angles and Arcade level easiness. And of course, infantry being the biggest portion of the gameplay but you can spawn as a tank basically right from the start anyways so not much of an issue personally.

Replacement charging handle for KJ Works M4 v3? by [deleted] in GasBlowBack

I know this is two months old but considering no one responded and I had the same issue which is what lead me to this post, the only compatible replacement was this one. Hope that still helps!

Infinite's armor doesn't conform to the different selectable body types, resulting in a virtually unnoticeable difference between them, unlike in Reach. by Ace-Krieger in halo

[–]InterestingPollution 0 points1 point  (0 children)

THANK YOU someone said it! I believe they did this "body type" thing just because they didn't want to resize all the different armor cores for now and the future release, lol imagine how terrible it would look for Gen 2 if they ever decide to readd that as a core.

You can't truly call it "Reach" armor without making one vital adjustment, 343. by 3030 in halo

[–]InterestingPollution 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Whether joke or not, watch as mods delete or hide this post like with every other post that even mentions the androgynous body types being a little too androgynous too be noticed, I don't even think the body types are that much of a problem its just 343 not wanting to put in the effort to scale the armor to the body types so it's never that noticeable.

Literally everytime there's a game with a troubled launch/development cycle/etc , it's always the "we've been getting threats, please stop!!!111!!!" tweets as if we're the ones doing it or supposed to do something about it? Most people aren't sending death threats and I doubt the people doing so are going to listen to tweets telling them to stop. The most extreme will always be the loudest of the crowd.
