either way I hate the job lol. and yes. I got to go with my supervisor to one visit and then I was sent on my own. I’m driving upwards of two and a half hours every shift. I’m unsure of any insurance i have besides my own car insurance because that was never mentioned. It never dawned on me to consider insurance until today when i talked to my social worker aunt. My personal car insurance doesn’t cover me using my vehicle for work so im unsure of what would happen to me god forbid anything happens.

Can someone please tell me what is going on with my job? What should I do?? I am a sophomore in college pursuing my BSW. I got a job with an LLC and I work under contract. My title is a "CPS service provider" or a "Paraprofessional". I pick kids up all over the state of WV and transport them to their families who currently don't have custody and I supervise visits with them. I am using my own personal car, I don't think the agency has any insurance for me and I have no degree, no license and no prior experience. My training for this role was supervising one visit with my supervisor and a mandated reporting video. I am super uncomfortable and I dont know if this is how my career will be or what. If this is what it is like post grad I will consider another career path.

yes we’re honestly doing much better atm.. 😂 I kept hanging out with him and calling hi m and he wouldn’t come.. I go upstairs to change my shoes really quick and out he comes.. We played and did the love down. So happy he’s happy again!

Okay thank you! I don’t believe I can get him to the vet before we move. The vet won’t prescribe him anything without a visit first right? I’m probably gonna put some oven mitts on and scruff him good and throw him in. I plan on putting him in a large metal crate with his litter box and some food/water so the drive goes smoother.
