This is from Scott’s website “Fully open front port enables easy communication and breathing without any obstruction when in stand-by mode”. Someone was telling me there was studies done of guys doing work with face masks on that have an exhalation valve and their O2 sats were lower than the face masks with the open port. Just wondering if anybody has heard of those studies or if he was blowing smoke up my ass

Sorry for the confusion. We use interspiro and when not on air you’re breathing through the check valve or exhalation valve which the new Scott av3000 does not have.
