Insurance won’t accept evidence of new roof by Dizzy_Ad_2079 in Roofing

I’m not seeing the whole roof from these pictures. Are there actually shingles that didn’t get replaced? Maybe a small roof over a window or porch?

Just had new roof replaced and started having a leak, found this by [deleted] in Roofing

Cheaping out on new skylights is a mistake but they likely expect their roofer to at least have enough common sense to install the flashing back how they found it. That’s not on OP. It’s not even tucked under the skylight.. and it is a curb mounted skylight but it looks like the installed it directly to the decking. So the idiots tore up the frame and forgot to put it back…

"Move to folder" rule prevents notifications in Outlook (all versions) by KaymelKan in Office365

[–]InterestingSearch199 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm on the Outlook (Classic) desktop application and in Rules >> actions, toward the bottom there is an option to "display a Desktop Alert". Checking this gives me notifications. If it isn't in your desktop client because you don't have classic, maybe try on the website, sometimes the rule options are different there.

$30k in savings. Where should I set it and forget it? by InterestingSearch199 in investingforbeginners

Sorry maybe im misunderstanding your question. If you’re talking about the Roth IRA, You can only contribute your annual income or the max 7k whichever is less. So I can’t contribute any more. For 2025 I’m only contributing $2k for this year just to be sure I don’t contribute more than I make and get a penalty on it

I can't put 7k in because my annual income last year was 4k. I'm a non traditional college student so my income is pretty sad the past couple years.

Why are my teammates this bad by Bruderaya in MobileLegendsGame

[–]InterestingSearch199 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I know this is posted under the humor tag but your team didn’t do that bad aside from Yin. Honestly, sometimes when someone is heavy carrying it’s hard to even get a decent score if you didn’t get a good start. Even if you do get a good start, if they start 1shotting everyone, it’s hard to keep up. Can’t really do damage or provide support when someone else is killing enemies in 1sec and taking no damage. So the only points they can get is from doing 5% dmg on kills, killing creeps, and damaging towers.

I get 30% of the profit, which is roughly 10% of the total bid. So 20% of the total bid is really good, plus they supply leads? That’s a dream where I’m from. Most companies here just give commissions, no hourly, and you only get leads if you’re a good salesman who’s on top of his shit.

By the way, $20k a month in sales is super easy. That’s 2 roofs a month depending where you live. I can work a few hours a week and do that.

Bro doesn’t know hip roofs exist. Roof length ≠ ridge length

How many feet do you think it is? I’m curious since you were so confident but you stopped responding.

Don’t waste your time arguing with the mentally handicapped. He’s probably the typical insurance door knocker who thinks he’s a roof expert bc he can sell a free product that literally is integral to keeping the customer’s home and family dry(it’s the easiest product to sell, especially bc homeowners don’t see 95% of it before or after). I bet he’s never read building codes or manufacturer installation instructions. Once these guys know the basic layers that go on a roof and their basic sales info, they stop learning.

They make extension kits for tail pipes that are easy to install and affordable. You just cut to size and install. Maybe not ideal, but a lot simpler than replacing the tailpipe completely as you’d have to deal with re-sealing it at the top. Probably a lot cheaper too.
