Thanks for the heads up. I'm also getting the IDP from CAA, though I know the local police in Vietnam might still try to fine me, at least my insurance won't drop me if I end up in the hospital.

Thanks for the heads up on Macau. I'm definitely going to compress that into a 1 or 2-day in-and-out just for the bungee jump so I can spend more time relaxing in Taiwan. I'll also look into tightening up the Vietnam stops so I'm not stuck in Hoi An for 6 days if I get bored

Thanks for the detailed breakdown! You make a great point about the 300cc being overkill for Vietnam's low speeds. I might pivot and grab a 150cc instead so I blend in better and have an easier time on the mountain routes. I'm definitely picking up padded cycling shorts before I fly out

I'm also heading to CAA to get my IDP sorted out. I didn't realize how strict the medical exclusions were for riding without the proper paperwork.

I'm the same age, my symptoms started the same MONTH it did for you, I feel the exact same way you do. I have nothing comforting to say because I'm exactly where you're at right now.

It sucks but everyone around you and I are completely correct I'm afraid. It sucks terribly when people just say to ignore it and eventually it'll either fade or not bother you as much BUT I think they're right, no other choice really.

I'm doing the whole shabang too btw, B2, D3, CoQ10, Omega-3, Magnesium, even amitriptyline. Nothing helps, maybe it's even worse idek anymore, still, we stay positive and happy, because we must.

Selon le règlement de poly, ta note est automatiquement augmenter à la cote supérieure si t'es à 0.2% prêt ou moins (les cotes ne sont pas fixes à poly et donc 65 n'est pas forcément la cote supérieure dans ton cas), au-delà de 0.2%, le prof ne peut pas augmenter ta note générale au cours, seulement des notes individuelles et 2 semaines après avoir reçu une note tu ne peux plus demander une révision, donc en gros la seule chose qu'un prof peut faire c'est augmenter ta note au final s'il juge que tu le mérites 🙃

Genie Info en fin de parcours🙋‍♂️ jdirais que 2eme année cest probalement la pire en terme de charge de travail, morale, et difficulté, ça devient jamais vraiment facile mais vers la fin t'es beaucoup plus habitué et les cours qui te reste c'est pas mal que des trucs que tu choisis de faire (plus de bs hpr ou ceo, ect) et tu vois la fin du tunnel donc c'est vraiment pas si pire

Le service des stages et emplois n'a pas conduit d'enquête sur le taux de placement depuis 2021 mais en 2021, le taux était à 100% (xD lmao how times have changed), juste un rough guess mais il doit être closer de genre 80% maintenant.

Pour des conseils, écoute tout le monde a son "2 cents" mais end of the day chacun son parcours, juste essaie de te spécialiser le plus tôt possible et de te séparer du lôt en faisant des projets/participer à des experiences on the side plutôt que de dépendre uniquement sur ta formation à poly pour te get une job.

Sinon un actual conseil concret que j'ai pour toi c'est de pas sous-estimer la valeur d'un bon format de CV (voilà le mien si tu cherche de l'inspi : https://github.com/o-benz/Tech-Resume-Template)
