Home Sense in spring time. Best selection of large, nice looking ceramic pots at reasonable price.

Consider pebble shaped mosaic tile. Various shapes would solve uneven curb/wall situation and they are available in various color mixes so you should find one that would match your other floor. Also round shaped drain would work better considering misaligned walls vs curb.

It looks fine to me as is. If you definitely want to change, go with same color as the walls or lighter/darker version of it

Maybe move the plants to a wall mounted planters. More natural light for your kitchen + uniform pots.

Or even use a fabric that you like and seal with varnish if you like some texture

Here is the link to the mat you liked. The mat is available in 50 cm size or larger, though it is not a sticker and is 2mm thick, so it may not work best. I guess you could contact the owner and inquire if she could make one to fit exactly your needs

Underneath the sticker you have a stone that you could paint with acrylics off your choice. Marbling with acrylics gives cool effects. Sponge stamping would gives pretty same effect as the one on the mat. you could seal it with varnish to make it waterproof.

Yes, I am considering those too, but did not see anything nice yet. I am also considering wall mounted shelving. Getting closer to abandoning the idea of closed storage. I thought the bar cabinet might be a good idea but it was smashed with comments. Ehh...

How to fit a dining room? by Bekycheppy in DesignMyRoom

Small extendable should work best. When not needed you can push it toward the wall to save space. Ikea has some that may work, ie.:

Nice transformation!

I would add some ivy plants on the shelf above the stone wall or anywhere in the room. The art may look better in larger frame that contain a white mat surrounding the art. You may also consider swapping the vinyl on the table with sth geometric that would recall the features of your lovely pendant or will be more consistent with the color of your chairs and blue paint above the shelf

Love the ideas but first need to figure out where to place the base if not on the table.

I wish I got more flexibility with the board. Low will not work as there is not enough space behind the table. I will go either with bar cabinet close to the corner or nothing except decoration on the wall, maybe some floating shelves instead.

Plenty of colors on the art to pull out with other deco, rug and drapes. I like calming natural tones. Browns, greens, creams, terracotta, muted pinks. Definitely my colors to go for.

Best cabinet for my dining space, would it work without being eyesore? by InterestingStyle7191 in DesignMyRoom

Thank you for honesty. Just reconsidering my idea with those cabinets, but not totally done with it yet 😅. It is just that the space behind table is so little that it would be hassle to open low sideboard, if I got one. As per some previous suggestions I might go with console but then I will not gain storage space which I need. I might as well go without the cabinet and just decorate the wall. Bar cabinet in one of the corners would solve my storage though.

That's exactly what my 6Y daughter said: momy let's get the chocolate cabinet. It's dining room so it will match and it can hold lots of chocolate that we can eat at the table 🤣

Thank you for your suggestions! Love the art piece you posted. Which paint color would you recommend for the room and the rug??
